I have several rabbits of all ages and they all love Oxbow's Natural Science Joint Support Hay tabs. After experimenting with this product for several months I've seen a huge improvement in my oldest bunny's activity. Before trying the Joint Support tabs he wasn't as playful and his desire to be mobile was low. Since introducing him to the Joint Support tabs he's more playful, active, and binkys with the younger rabbits. The best part was taking him for his annual check-up and seeing that his veterinarian approves!

My rabbit broke her leg years ago and I was told she would get arthritis when she got older, but it literally hit her like a ton of bricks on day. She was on Tramadol and metacam for two weeks. So I did my research as she cannot stay on painkiller and found this. Since she went on this within 2 weeks she was back to her old self and off the painkillers. I think the vets are shocked that she has only had metacam once in the last 6 months when she is also clearly in pain. She will not eat the tablets so I soak them in apple juice and mush them up with some critical care and this gets her to eat it (her hutchmate will eat a tablet no problem. I don't think she would still be here if it wasn't for this product, it is worth every penny and clerly works with her.

My 6 year old female rabbit has been having a few problems with not eating her cecotrophs and kept needing a butt bath after being wet and soiled at her rear end. After various tests, an X-ray revealed some arthritis in a hind leg. So her weight is being monitored and I have had her on this Oxbow Joint Support for 2-3 weeks. She weighs 3.5kg so she has one each morning and evening. Now....... she climbs about, jumps on things, rears for a treat and even her gait is much improved. And more to the point, she can bend round to clean herself. She can now chase about with her 18 month old companion. I will definitely be keeping her on these. In fact I'd like some LOL!

Trying this because my rabbit has lost weight and muscle. He seems to enjoy the supplement and I think he is benefiting.
Bought these for an old bunny with arthritis and hoping they will help, but three weeks in I haven’t seen any improvement yet. I bought two months supply to give it a real crack, so will see what happens. Our loved bunny is nearly ten and moves pretty slowly these days so fingers crossed these help.
My elderly arthritic rabbit was really losing mobility. Vet prescribed pain relief and my local rabbit rescue recommended these Oxbow Joint supplements. The combination has worked well and my bun can now hop around and groom himself much better now.
As always Oxbow products are of exceptional quality. My girl loves the joint support biscuits for rabbits, as an elderly bun I like to try and keep her in as good health as possible which requires mobility.
My rabbits have both been diagnosed as having arthritis and the one in particular favoured her paw by constantly licking it. Since taking these supplements, she has stopped licking her paw and is enjoying life to the full again. Neither bunny has restricted life, unless in a very cold winter where the one's paw may play up a little - but then she may have to have pain relief too. Such is life when getting old, sadly!
I basically purchase all Oxbow products for my rabbit and piggies. I recently purchased the Oxbow Joint Support for both small animals. They both love the supplement. Now, as for its usage/purpose, it is difficult to determine. However, if the small furry ones love the taste of the supplements then something must be working.
My guinea pig is showing more obvious signs of aging and before his hips were giving him the most trouble. When he didn't want to be held anymore, I started doing some research for vegan-sourced glucosamine. These are the only tablets available, so I took a shot hoping he would overcome his pickiness for mobility's sake. Fortunately he does like these treats, and as a result my guinea pig is back to himself. He's been able to go out to graze whenever the weather permits and enjoys walking around, eating, and sunning himself with his back feet kicked out. I'll be buying these for the rest of his life!
