Oxbow Simple Rewards Apple Banana Treats 60g

My two bunnies absolutely adore any and all Oxbow treats. Especially the ones with Apples. Oxbow is the only brand that I trust for my bunnies. Quality products that don’t break the bank.

31 treats/bag: Bunnies and guinea pigs like them

I counted 31 treats, in the Oxbow Simple Rewards Baked Treats bag of 3 oz.My furry kids liked the previous shape and taste/smell more. It took some time for them to warm up to the newer version. One of my buns still won't eat it. The other 3 buns and 2 guinea pigs will eat it, since it's the only treat offered, aside from fresh fruit/veggies.

Great for Hamsters, Guinea Pigs would love too!

I bought these for my Chinese Dwarf hamster, not sure she would like them but the price was good & the ingredients were similar to a product I used to buy for my late guinea pigs & they liked that product which is no longer available. When I opened the Oxbow Simple Rewards Apple & Banana, the treats were harder than the other product & I worried since my hamster is not a big chewer that she would not like them. After giving her one, she went to town on it. As mentioned she is not a big chewer like some previous hamsters, but she chews every bit of each treat & loves them. I think guinea pigs and other small animals would like these too. Great product!

Hamster Treats

We use this with a few other types as treats for our hamsters. The product has changed slightly since we started getting them; there’s now a hole to allow you to hang in the cage if you wish. It seems to have changed the density just a little, but they still love them.Pet Guys has a great price on the product and it arrives quickly; even with all the recent shipping issues across the country.

Kaytee small animal bedding

This bedding works very well for one of my bunnies litter pans, I sprinkle Aspen wood chips on top. It holds moisture very well and really helps with odor control. I use a different bedding for my rabbit that eats everything, I’m sure the Kaytee is fine for a little eating and it really has helped to keep the smell down for my bunny’s litter pan. It’s also soft and fluffy, bunny approved! :)

My bunnies love them!

I'm pretty strict when it comes to my bunnies diet. I make sure there is no wheat and there aren't anything they were unable to eat.Since I give my bunnies a treat once in the morning and again at night. This was perfect! At first they were unsure if they were able to get this cookie, but once they had it, they loved it. They always know when it's coming when I open the bag.It's baked timothy hay along with whatever ingredients are in it. My favorite is are the apples & bananas because they love those actual fruits. But overall, the bunnies love all of the cookie flavors.

My rats will not eat them.

I have 9 Pet rat's and not even one of them will eat these. When I seen them on the website I thought that it would be something they would love. Because all of my rats love bananas and apples. My favorite rat Templeton goes out of his way to eat the dried banana chips out of his food bowl first. But he wouldn't even take these from me. The only rat that would take it from me is Hoarder. She is very aggressive when it comes to food. She will take it from me and hide it in her nest. But she still will not eat it. She hoards it like she does everything else. This is the only food that I have found that Hoarder will not eat.

Oxbow is a healthy and safe winner for picky pigs!

For picky pigs, Apple and Banana flavored Oxbow treats, as well as Bell Pepper flavored treats are always a winner. Ive noticed a little bit of skepticism since the treats started getting the hole in the middle, but it makes them more versatile for making strands of snacks and chews.It may seem expensive, but it’s far safer than many of the snacks that use artificial dyes, seeds, and other things guinea pigs shouldn’t eat. Highly recommended!

Patsy enjoys the good life!

My pet bunny Patsy loves these treats. I use them to coax her to let me pick her up and bring her back inside after she has been outside enjoying the beautiful Arizona weather. I also use them them as treats after her "spa" day when I check her teeth, toe nails and glands. They are just the right size for her.

Shape and Recipe Change

Our rabbit loved the apple & banana flavor, but we just purchased some yesterday and they are not only a new shape, but a different recipe and she will not touch them now. They used to smell like apple when you opened the package, but now it just smells like timothy hay. We threw the package away because she refuses to eat them. Very disappointed because we have a routine with her and she looks forward to these treats.
