I'd never tried this type of liquid measure before, with the ability to read the volume without crouching to eye level. Love it! At first I thought that the angle and normal measurements didn't agree with eachother....and that's when I found out (thanks google!) that 1 cup doesn't equal 250ml...it's 236.5. All these years I've been converting incorrectly. I might never have learned that if not for this measuring cup

This OXO Good Grips 2-Cup Angled Measuring Cup is the best measuring cup I have ever owned. I love that the clear red Measurements are on the inside and outside of the cup that makes measuring easy and precise. I use it every morning to measure my almond or coconut milk for my protein shakes. Loved the macys sale price as well. This Angled measuring cup is a winner. Now I need the other sizes as well. Also love the easy grip since I have arthritis.

I have had a 2-cup OXO angled cup for years. Recently I made a liniment directly in the cup and one of the 4 ingredients ruined the cup. The inside was all dissolved, for lack of a better term. It is terrible and I have now put it in the potting shed. I immediately ordered a new one. I ordered the wrong size so I went to the store to exchange it. I now have a new sparkling 2-cup OXO angled measuring cup. NOTE---do not put wintergreen, bay rum, or witch hazel in this cup. One of those ingredients (or the combination) ruined the finish of the plastic. What I like about the cup is that you don't have to raise the cup to your eyes to see the amount of ingredients in the cup. You just look down into the cup for measuring. I really enjoy this style of measuring cup!

I'm a big fan of OXO products, they typically consider universal design, and this jug doesn't disappoint. Angled measuring stops the need to keep picking the jug up to check the measure on the side, saves time and the occasional spill. Thank goodness it can go in the top rack of the dishwasher. Downsides: 1. I wouldn't get in the habit of using it in the microwave as it should not have oil in it when microwaving. 2. US recipes are part of my cooking repertoire and while it has both liters and UK fluid ounce measurements, I was sad not to see US cup and US fluid ounces. But, if I were buying just one measuring jug, this would be it. A good addition to our wee kitchen.
Being able to read the exact measurements simply by looking into the jug from the top as you are filling it is such a simple idea and so useful.I showed my great nephew how to make brownies (Betty Crocker triple chocolate brownies - the best) and you need accurate but small measures of water and oil (60ml and 3ml) - these view from the top jugs make it so much easier. There are different sizes, but the smaller ones are probably more useful - when measuring small amounts you have to be very accurate - it is not so critical when dealing with larger amounts.I have bought several to give as gifts - all of which were very well received.
This is the easiest measuring cup to use that I have ever owned, especially for liquids. It is a second one for me as it is used almost every day. The markings don’t wear out even with years of dishwasher use. The only thing to be careful of is not stacking it with heavy things inside. I cracked the bottom of my first one that way and can only use it for non- liquids now.
I've had a 1 cup version of this for over 10 years and got to a point where I needed a larger measuring cup when cooking, so this was an easy purchase.The angled scale design is the best thing ever, saving me from having to bend down or try to keep it flat in the air.The handle is nice and comfy, and the thumb rest above the handle really helps keep it steady while pouring when full.The 1/3 and 2/3 cup triangle marks on the angled scale continue up through cups 2-4, despite there not being enough room for the "1/3" and "2/3" parts - if you've bought this and were wondering what those triangles are for, you're welcome! ^_^
This is a well thought out and engineered measuring cup. It has markings laid out just where you need them. You can look down as you fill the cup to know how much is in it and the markings are clear in contrast with the background and go down both sides on the interior as well as being marked out on the exterior too. It is comfortable to hold and use. If there is a down side it might be the price, but in terms of everything else it is an excellent product.
Measurements inside the cup means it can be viewed from the top on a flat surface making measurements much more precise. Table and teaspoon measures are printed on the outside. This mini measure is far superior to any other measuring jug I have had for small quantities. 5ml to 60ml or .5oz to 2 oz can be measured accurately.
I have been using these OXO Measuring cups for years. I wouldn't even know how to read a regular measuring cup anymore. Just glance down inside the cup and you will know the exact amount of liquid inside. No more stooping down to find eye level if you are into exact measurement. I think in the past I might have microwaved or put them in the dishwasher and I think the markings faded or came off eventually so I just rinse it out in the sink. Still worth it no matter what size you buy or how you wash it.
