I owned an earlier model of these measuring cups. Like most OXO products, they were easy and pleasant to use. Unfortunately, they had one major problem: the cup size markings wore off in just a couple of years, even after I switched to hand washing.This model of cups has the cup markings molded into the handles, so they will continue to be useful for a long time. In addition, the cups snap together for storage, and the set even comes with a scraper.Highly recommended.

This product is sold as a 6 piece measuring cup set. Look at the picture, there are only 5 cups. The 3/4 cup is missing and that is one that I use a lot. I did not realize this until I go home and removed the packaging. I cannot use this product comfortably without that 3/4 cup. Measuring the 1/2 and then the 1/4 for all measurements requiring 3/4 cup is a pain. Is anyone at Bed Bath and Beyond paying attention?

I got these for the 2/3 and 1/3 cup measures which were sorely needed.The cups are easy to identify, use, hold, and clean. The levelling stick can also double as a stirrer when folding ingredients.The cups have a halfway marker in them, which was a pleasant surprise, allowing to measure, say, 3½ cups with just the 1 cup.The set really feels like it's missing a 3/4 cup (even visually in the picture) - you can use the 1/2 cup and then again at the halfway line, but a 3/4 cup would really round out this set.

1- There is no 3/4 cup measure. There is a 2/3 cup measure, but Inexplicably, a 3/4 cup measure was not considered useful or necessary.2- The painted size dots wear off with use and washing.3- The size of the cups and spoons really should be molded into the plastic in large, obvious numerals. Braille would be welcomed by some home cooks.4- The measuring cups and spoons should come with a simple, secure, and attractive wall or inside cupboard door mounting device.I'm sorry, OXO, but Tupperware wins the measuring cup and spoon competition. The other fine OXO Good Grips products seriously raised the bar for kitchen products, but your measuring cups and spoons have been painfully cracked in the skull with that same bar! I am incredibly disappointed in you.
Bought these as a replacement for our well used last set, which were white. We lost one and then after many many years of daily use one broke so I got these replacement ones in the sale. Love how they hang up above our kitchen bench for ease of use when we weigh out ingredients for our own fruit muesli and cereal etc
It's hard to describe the benefit of these over traditional measuring cups... but these have been a solution to a problem that we've just.. "considered normal" until now. So let me describe why I like these cups.We use measuring cups a LOT. However, if they're completely disconnected/separate items, the size we need is, as luck would have it, often missing, and we then have to rummage around in the drawer to find it. If the cups are bound with a chain/ring/string/whatever, the unused ones get in the way during use, and then putting them through the dishwasher when connected like keys on a ring can be a bit "finnicky"... if you want to ensure they don't fill with dish water. If this sounds familiar to you, then you're not alone. :-)These OXO "Good grips" are held together with magnets. Which, when I saw it for the first time, was one of those moments where I thought: "Where has this been all my life?" The magnets hold together well enough for any sane level of force, and of course can be stored in a "nested" or "Russian Doll" style, which is quite space-saving.It's just SO much easier to grab the whole set, pull the one you want out, snap the rest of the unused cups together, then put the used one back after cleaning. No dangling cups, no rings, nothing loose and getting scattered in the drawer. You know they're stuck together, and they're easy to find.The plastic construction is more than enough for years worth of use, but I'd have liked to have seen a stainless steel variant as well.I'm very happy with this set, and while I still use our old ones, these have been a big help, particularly when my better half and I are cooking simultaneously.. (and hopefully using differently sized cups).I also have the magnetically attached measuring spoons, and they're a joy to use too.
I purchased these measuring cups because the coloured number again the black is visually easier to read as a legally blind person. And not only are they easy to read, but they're actually so chic and make my kitchen look so professional!

In fact I thought I had misplaced it and started looking all over my kitchen for where I might have put it. It's only when I looked at the BBB website that I realized that the "sixth piece" of the set is the scraper, and that for some reason Oxo hasn't bothered putting a 3/4 cup in this set like the last set had. Obviously I didn't notice that when I bought it. If I weren't still holding on to my old Oxo set, I would have had to use the 1/4 cup three times, or 1/2 plus 1/4. Very annoying. I bought these to hang in my cabinet but the handles have a tiny hole & snap each cup together including a hanger. To use this way, the cups would extend 6 inches into cabinet & that would defeat purpose of saving space. The edge of the cups are rather sharp. Don’t like at all!
Nothing more to say, really. No one makes a 3/4 measuring cup anymore and its annoyingggg. This would get 5 stars but no measuring cup for 3/4. I'm tired of having to use two measuring cups when one would do the trick.
