OXO Good Grips Pop 2.0 Container Slim Rectangle Short 1.1L

These airtight containers have definitely helped in our battle with grain moths! These insects are very hard to get rid of once they get in your house, but as we transfer all potential targets for these creatures, we are gradually depriving them of their food sources. In addition, they are an excellent way to extend the life of whatever you put inside them.

I discovered this brand from "The Home Edit" which is a home organizing show. I fell in love with all of their containers as they are air tight, super durable for all contents and multiuse. I'm slowly starting to transition all of my dry goods (nuts, coffee beans, oatmeal, crackers, pasta, rice and etc) into these. Only con is that they are a bit pricey especially in Canada. However, if you can catch the bundle on sale at Costco (regular price $79.99) it's definitely worth it and be warned you will become addicted. This is a highly recommended brand/product.

Love, love, love these slim Oxo containers. Whether it is the fridge or pantry these Oxo's look great and are functional. Space-saving. Excellent seal. I am hooked!

Cannisters keep foods fresh!

I bought a couple of these cannisters due to their size, ie., they hold a lot of food. I absolutely love that I can buy groceries, come home and put the food items in these cannisters right away and I know that I won't be throwing stale food away! Everything in them, stays fresh right to the end!!! I only wish these cannisters were a little prettier for the counter.

Great containers, but lid isn't 100% secure.

Since I place these containers in a lower cabinet, my reflex is to pick up the container by the top - or the lid. However, this is ill advised because the lids are not 100% secure. It will slip off and your container full of rice will spill everywhere. That being said, it is a perfectly good container in every other way! It's still airtight in spite of the slippage. Just pick it up by the side.

I like the slim line as you can have more lined up in view and easy to grab. 1.1L is great for most items but I have 1.8L behind for larger quantities and some .4L on top of the 1.1L in my pantry which fit perfectly on my 350mm deep shelf.

Perfect for sugar

I got 2 of these to store my brown and powdered sugar. I did not notice any issues with the seal as others noted in their reviews. They hold a typical bag of brown sugar with enough space to attach an oxo scooper to the bottom of the lid or the brown sugar keeper ring. I purchased those attachments separating to attach to these containers and I would recommend them. I like the thin shape of these containers as they fit perfectly in the pantry shelf. They seal well and make the kitchen look nice and tidy. Would buy again.

Practical stacking and look nice

Such a perfect size for snacks. I have a few of these that I use for various nuts and sultanas. And also I use them for some of my flours like corn flour and tapioca starch. Super practical stacking and nice and airtight and look great in the pantry.

Storage containers

BPA free, airtight and can be used in kitchen, office or for any storage. Modular and stackable with easy to use push down lid. No need to struggle opening jars. My go to storage container.

Very disappoint in the updated product

I bought this thinking it was the same quality as the previous version. It is not. Yes, it is much easier to take apart and put back together, but even when you pop the to seal it, you can pull it right off the top with little effort. It does not seal at all. I am truly disappointed when manufactures make a great product and then decide to modify it. The quality of these containers now are not up to par. I will be looking for something else with a better seal. Very disappointed that they changed the quality of what used to be an excellent product.
