OXO Julienne Peeler Good Grips

This product is so good I cannot imagine how I did without it. I bought an expensive spiralizer from one of the shopping channels on TV and was very disappointed with how difficult if was to keep the veg in place and the pressure you need to cut the vegetables. I ended up sending the spiralizer back. So, I looked on Amazon and saw this OXO for sale. Much cheaper than a spiralizer, so I decided to order one. It is so easy to use, no pressure required, and the courgette spaghetti is so easy to do. I managed to get a large pile of spaghetti out of one courgette that cost 30p, the same in the local supermarket is packaged and on sale for 1.25. I recommend this product 100 give it a go, you wont be disappointed.

Perfect for courgette spaghetti! I love this julienne peeler! So easy to use and with a little clip to store. Have already bought 2 more as stocking fillers!

Good shortcut for alot of veg

Good for carrots, Cucumbers, radish, apple, chillis, peppers (on the edge), to cut them in even sized sticks. Can't help but feel the top metal part needs to be curved slightly to prevent some strokes resulting in sticks joined at the bottom of each stroke. Makes nice stir-fry and coleslaw, you have to cut the cabbage with a knife as usual, still, it cuts down on the cutting job by at least 75%. Easy to clean with a washing up brush.

This is a wonderful addition to my kitchen tools. I love to cook noodles or rice with sautéed vegetables and this makes preparing the carrots and courgette so easy. Highly recommend. Sharp serrated end so need to be careful while washing and best to keep the plastic cap on when not in use.

Great Julienne peeler! Love the size shreds they create as they produce thicker shreds than most peelers. Best for for peeling larger carrots as its very easy to accidentally cut your fingers when peeling small vegetables! Just be very careful when using this utensil, as blade is very sharp!!

OXO Julienne Peeler

This is a nice peeler easy comfortable grip, sharp blades. What it lacks, which the cheaper all metal ones have, is a tip to dig out potatoeyes. I miss that you must use a knife for that operation. Oxo makes good tools but missed making this a great tool. I would not buy another one.

I was very happy with the advice I received from John Lewis staff in Oxford Street. He went out of his way to help me buy the right peeler. I use it to make green papaya salad without fuss and without having to get bulky equipment out of the cupboard.Simple, practical and easy.

This is really a great product.

I like to make green papaya salad now and then and used to spend a lot of time cutting carrots and papaya into little pieces. Then I got this little device. It works great. It's kind of like a peeler, but gives you thin strips. I find myself using it for salads and other dishes. Highly recommended.

Time Saver ! - Nice four sided thin crunchy long carrot strips.

I cook stir fry, I like the carrots nice thin crunchy and has the four sides, its extremely time consuming and quite dangerous when making it like that with the good old chef's knife. I was wasting around 12 mins every day just for preparing the carrots. Until I got sick of it and needed a solution to make my carrot preparing less hectic and time consuming. You have the food processor, but that too is time consuming just to slice the carrots into thin strips due to cleaning the food processor and the food processor doesn't make perfect four sided thin strips.This strip peeler is excellent, does the job very well. Worked well at first try. I got nice long thin four sided carrot strips. Easy to clean and prepared in few seconds, I just saved 12 mins of my life.
