I purchased approximately 30 stainless (multiple sets 10/5 etc) containers prior to Covid. Loved them—slowly a few of the tops no longer worked properly. I reached out to the company and they said they no longer carried that style—-they had updated them. So that means you can no longer get the replace tops—-what a waste! The bottom (clear container) is perfectly fine, but I can no longer can get a replacement top that fits the container because the shape is different.

In my home, I have several OXO POP containers in all sizes, storing everything from flour and sugar to mini peanut butter cups and chocolate chip cookies! They are my go to storage containers because I can’t stand looking at various cardboard boxes that food comes in. These containers just look very neat and organized, not only on my counter tops, but in the cabinets as well. The smallest one I own is the OXO POP Steel 0.4Qt. It is the perfect size for tea bags. The one thing I noticed that is different with the steel top container, is when you go to clean it. There are two (2) square “diaphragm like” pieces that you have to pull off. I have been a long time buyer of Oxo POP containers and wasn't sure what to expect with the newer design. I was very impressed by the quality of the pop mechanism and lid. The pop top mechanism feels pretty sturdy and built to last. The gasket holds a pretty good seal on the container too.For cleaning, instructions inside the label show you how to remove the two pieces of the lid necessary to give it a good clean. It's super easy! A hard-plastic piece at the bottom pops off and reveals a solid gasket that covers the entire center of the lid. This is nice because it protects the other pieces of the lid and keeps them from getting grimy, so you don't have to worry about cleaning them as much. Lovely looking containers and great they're clear so you can see what you're storing. Both sizes hold good amounts. I've got many, filled with pet & wildlife cat treats, bird seeds, fish food & mealworms (for birds & hedgehogs!) I use others for cereals, biscuits & many other food items.
