I do not shop often at Target, but my old box grater came apart and I needed a replacement. I wanted it to be stainless steel, dishwasher safe, well made and available since I needed it that evening or next morning. I did an online search and found this one AND that was in stock and reasonably priced at a nearby Target. That’s the whole story.

The bottom cup to catch the cheese (and all else) is very helpful, and it is sturdy with or without the cup. The size of it is somewhat narrow so that I had to buy a thinner dish brush so I could clean the inside of the grater. You can put your hand inside the grater and use a sponge to clean...I just don't do sponges. There's room enough for grating but this is not as large as those I've used before.

We've had this grater for a few years and I recently bought it as a gift for someone. It works perfectly, and also works for food other than cheese (e.g. apples, carrots). I don't use the small plastic container it comes with because usually I grate more than it would hold, but it's a nice little extra. It is very sturdy and easy to use. I'd recommend it!

This grater is not like any other grater that we have purchased. I love that you can save what ever you grate in the container. The container also has measurements, which is a nice added feature. Also comes with a lid so you can store and have it air tight. Very easy to grate because the wholes are sharp. I would highly recommend!
Great sturdy grater. Great for shredding parmesean and then storing it in the refrigerator using storage container on the bottom. When I'm finished using it I'll give it a quick rinse or pop it into the dishwasher. Just bought another one to give to my mom.
Sturdy, ergonomic, 4 sizes, and bonus little container! Rubber bottom is handy. They really thought of everything! Have had mine for over 6 years, still like new (I hand-wash my dishes in case that matters). Liked mine so much I bought a second for my BF when his flimsy dollar store graters fell apart. He’s hard on his graters (and uses dishwasher) but his is still like new too!
This greater served me well for several years. I really loved it until the plastic handle started to come off. I'd notice black shards of plastic in my cheese. Eventually the plastic.handle just came off. I think it would be best if the handle was metal, maybe with just a plastic covering near the handle. The plastic doesn't stay connected forever.
Honestly a very good cheese grater you won’t be disappointed more or less. My gripes are as follows, it’s slightly to small and it’s a little expensive.
Perfect! Easy to use and store your home grated cheeses. Will be using this often.
I like this grater. The handle is large enough to feel secure and the rubber feet keep it from slipping. The little box on the bottom also has a lid so you can store your food. The only thing I didn't realize is that the sides are narrower than my old grater. You wouldn't be able to use those slicing/grating surfaces with a large fruit/vegetable. But overall it's very nice.
