When chewy started to not sell the much loved Waggletooth brand as much I tried the kit out to see if this brand was a good. Nope, not at all. One of the finger brushes broke when packed for a trip. The finger brushes are thin and only have the brush on one side, so when it slides, I had to constantly readjust. Unlike Waggletooth brand worm finget brush which has bristles all around the brush so you don't have to readjust when brushing and was big enough to protect your fingers from your pups teeth and be able to brush real quick inside as well. I will never be able to definitively say that the water additive caused my healthy 11yo cat to have urinary issues within a week of using the additive, but I've thrown it out and will never use any dental solution without checking the research at the Veterinary Oral Health Council first.He's never been sick a day in his life and only goes to the vet for well-kitty and vaccination visits.Within a week of adding the water additive to his water he started having trouble urinating, stopped eating, and was vomiting (after getting a little food down). He's at the vet now after staying overnight.It's correlative, but that's enough for me when it comes to my best buddy.Do your research!

I will tell you though the first we put it in his water he wouldn't touch. He had seen us add it. And so the next time we "snuck" it in and he had no problem with it. Our little animal friend s are smarter than we think sometimes.

The tamper seal to the water additive was open. Not sure what happened, but definitely don't trust it enough to give it to my animals. I had really only bought it for this being that I did already have toothpasteand brushes, but I thought it would be good to have extra... wasted my money, and I didn't see a refund option so not happy with that.
I never have to worry about my dogs dental health since I've found this kit. This kit is designed to help remove plaque and tartar to support overall dental health. My dog liked both the Water Additive and Dental GeL. They are both flavorless and odorless. I thought the finger toothbrushes included in the kit were a great help for gently scrubbing away plaque and tartar. Papillons are notorious for dental issues and this is a great preventative. I would definitely recommend this product to all my pet owning friends.
We got this to help with our kitty's stinky carnivore breath. I like the water additive. It is easy to use and safe for pets, and doesn't affect the flavor of the water. Our cat has no issues with it. My daughter tried brushing the cat's teeth with the finger brush and toothpaste, but the cat did NOT like that. In general, cats don't like to be held in one place to do anything, so the fact that she didn't want to hold still and wasn't enthused about having her teeth brushed is no big surprise. She has to be scruffed and held so her teeth could be brushed. And since there wasn't flavor in the toothbrushing gel, or any thing that she liked, then she REALLY didn't want her teeth brushed. So be aware, some of this is good for cats, but some is hard to use.
