Awesome little unit!

I bought this a ~3-4 months ago and I have used it every time I've been down in my workshop. It handles wood, plastic, even metal - pretty much everything I've thrown at it, with the tougher stuff working fine as long as you go slow and don't try to hurt the motor. Love that it connects up to my vacuum, which ends up extracting pretty much all the dust.Squaring the table and angle jig does require a set square to get it perfect, but that's super easy, barely an inconvenience.Changing the abrasive discs is best done by removing the little table - minor inconvenience, but no real trouble at all. 10/10 would buy again.

Does the job for light work.

Surprisingly, it works quite well. The bench mount tightens enough to secure it to the bench. It's a little underpowered for thick timber. I use 3/4" and as long as you take light passes it's ok. Anything thicker and I would get a more powerful unit.

I'm totally in love with this little disc sander, it far outweigh my expectations. I have to admit when I pulled it out of the box, and saw how small it was, as well as how underpowered I felt that the motor was when I first switched it on, I was pleasantly surprised after I ran a few lengths of timber through it. I thought the motor would stall, but it has a fair bit of torque.I make a lot of things from pallet wood, and use it to dress the edges and corners, and it makes quick work of it when compared to try to juggle an orbital sander, to try and do the same thing.Awesome value for $50, you can't go wrong. One reviewer mentioned using thin cardboard to make it easier to install new sanding discs. Good for Finishing Blades
26 August 2021

I've been using this for finishing swords and knives after stock removal, the lower power is good so I don't tear apart metal. Great for final bevels and sharpening the edge.

Great little disk sander
30 August 2022

I have been using this for the last 6 months making small components and game pieces. I have used it on a range of woods from red gum to pine and as long as you work within the limits of the machine it’s awesome.

Best piece of equipment I know. Super hand and works really well for the price. I sand and shape all types of wood and plastics with ease.

Bought this little gem today and love it, the small work table is adjustable in any direction, it's great for wood, plastic, metal; really impressed with this and great value for the price.

excellent little budget grinder
15 August 2021

Not all that powerful but seems to be enough for my needs and as a side effect, it's pretty quiet so I don't find myself needing hearing protection while using. It's very nice that they included quite a few sanding discs. Hook and loop is very easy for attaching the discs but would be even easier if it was possible to access the whole disc face. I use a place a of cardboard between the disc face and the sanding disc when I'm changing them so stop them attaching before it's in position. I also like the included clamp for securing it to the bench.
