Expected it to be a complete unit not just a plastic bin to connect to a compressor, certainly not worth the $87 I paid for it..
Brought this Machine roughly about 2 months ago to clean the garage floor.Just brought the Air compressor that was recommended which was a 2.5 horse power and the proper sand which was for concrete floor. Read the instructions to get the most out of it.Got everything set up started to use it,well had to get so close to what I wanted to clean,like the nozzle of the Sandblaster was only say 5-8 inches away. Took forever gave up in the end,and while I was using the Sandblaster you could feel the sand struggling to get through.I personally don't reccomend this Machine.
I would not recommend buying this sandblaster. It won't even remove flakey rust off surfaces that can be removed by a scraper....Totally useless.
I purchased this sandblaster from Bunnings about two years ago, used it once when I first purchased. Went to use again and the rubber hose has totally perished away.
It did remove tough paint that 5 layers of paint stripper could not fully remove.However, needed the smallest nozzle which took 2 hours for only a small part of 1 of 10 edges on my 4 car wheels. 10 kg $39 sandblasting grit ran out, so threw out sandblaster as refund probably not allowed.Better, easier and cheaper to hire a sandblasting pro for $25-$50 per wheel, plus car shop $25 per wheel to remove wheels and tyres.
Very poor performance, flat out trying to remove flaking paint from outdoor setting. Lacks clear guidance as to FAD/LPM/CFM. My air supply started as 50lt tank, 125psi 112lmp supposedly adequate, you would do better standing on a beach in strong onshore wind. I married up 2 compressor 140psi 100lt tank. In all a good waste of media. Return it only to get the; you need the right compressor and airflow. Obviously Ozito over rate the ability of the units. I certainly didn't get any results as they show on their videos/pictures.
I bought this a few months ago to recon my trailer; it does the job well so long as you have a good compressor hooked up to it. It does go thru a lot of media however I was able to collect most of it and use again. no issues with it, hose is fine, removes rust easily. Good value and am happy with it.
