Not to be used eith potable (drinking) water- it says this in the manual but no mention of it in the bunnings website listing. Also prone to rust internally over time.

Excellent, corker, great. Don't forget to prime when not used for a while. Purchase or build a waterproof cover. A tad noisy. Great pressure and runs my bore water spear like a treat.

I've bought a few of these pumps over the last several years, in a few instances for temporary solutions when a more expensive pump had failed and they have proven themselves to be as good as far more expensive pumps, in a few cases the "temporary solution" of a cheap pump has sufficed as a permanent fix with some lasting for years of service filling header tanks or transferring spring water to holding tanks etc. I;ve also left them outside exposed to the elements far more often than was strictly sensible with no issues resulting from my casual treatment.
