Disclaimer ! I’ve haven’t used the sprayer yet, my review is based on my experience while buying this product. I’ll edit thr review once I have a chance to fire it up.After buying this product I sat down and spent some time reading both the manual and the cleaning instructions, you should do the same as misuse or not cleaning a spray gun perfectly leads to all sorts of problems later on, and that is true for ANY spray gun. While reading the manuals I found out 3 interesting infos for this specific product.1.this product shipped with only one spray tip. Number 517 which is useful only with paint that the average consumer (the people this product is aiming for) won’t ever use. Number 517 which is useful only with paint that the average consumer (the people this product is aiming for) won’t ever use. Which means you HAVE TO buy a replacement tip namely 515 if you want to use it for acrylic paint or stain for instance. The replacement tip cost 72$ !!! So count this on top of the price advertised cause again you’ll have to buy it.2.This product shipped with one intake hose filter that again is aim to work with types of paint that most of us will never work with. So you’ll HAVE to buy a replacement as well. PROBLEM : the filter is not available in store and so far I haven’t found a place to buy that specific one (yellow mesh). It might be interchangeable with model from other brand but so far couldn’t find any info’s on this.3. The unit should never be stored while still being wet. Well upon taking the spray gun out of its plastic bag it started dripping good amount of water, while checking for the intake valve on the grip it was all corroded with some red residue inside of it and on the thread. My thinking is this particular unit has been used before and return to the shop who simply put it back on the shelves without checking. So before buying this product you’ll have to bare in mind the extra cost and also open the box and check thoroughly that it is a brand new unused unit indeed. The fact that there’re hidden cost is dirty business practises in my opinion and I will think twice before going for that brand again.

The unit does work well, but the set-up and cleaning processes do take a while. The spray head clogged almost immediately upon using it up the first time and would regularly get blocked if the trigger was not held in a vertical position. However this was easily cleared by reversing the tip 180 degrees and giving it a squirt. The stock tip has quite a broad spray pattern. Good long hose. No leakage from the fittings when tightened properly. Clean-up took me about 20mins of flushing clean water through the system and individually cleaning the trigger and tip. Would be a pain if your wanted to change colours often.

Purchased this yesterday to spray in excess of 100m of fencing. Took me about 9 hours to do the job. I would hate to think how long it would have taken to do by hand.Initial set up and priming was easy enough.Cleaning took about an hour to do properly, as there is quite alot involved in breaking the unit down to clean individual components.I used an oil based exterior stain as opposed to fence paint.I urchased the Titan spray head specifically for stain and clearcoats, the fan was just right as it was not too wide, it took two passes to do one fence pailing with overlap.Used 35 litres of stain to do one good coat. Would have used alot more by hand.2nd coat will be alot quicker, and will use less.Very happy with the purchase.

I have a job to paint 10 shipping containers, I bought the ozito as the price good for an airless sprayer not to use so often, but I was surprised how it was easy to set, prime and spray I was nervous before as I never use airsprayer beforeI did finished all the job in 3 hours with it could takes 1 week with 2 painters if rolling and bruch cuttingThe result come amazing even the cleaning process was easy straight forwardOnly one negative thing I couldn't undo the nuts to remove the filter inside the gun it is too tight was worrying not to damage it
What a waste of money. The first one we had to return as it didn't want to work after we first used it. Second one we used it twice and now it is in bits from us trying to get it to work. So annoying as it cost a bit of money and have a half finished job. Not happy at all. Clearly there are issues with these sprayers from the other reviews on here. Stay clear is our advice.
My wife and I are first time spray painters and wanted to spray paint roller doors at our property. I read the reviews and on balance decided that I would give this machine a go. I already have the big Ozito hammer drill and it has been very good. The paint sprayer worked like a dream and the cleaning process seems to work. No leaks! Good finish. The only criticism I have is that little assembly behind the spray nozzle, It falls out very easily and can be hard to find. But the manual does warn about this. Great value!
The first one of these we bought we took back after opening it and discovering it had been used, paint on the legs and attachments. When taking back I was offered another one which when the sales person inspected had also been used and bought back. I asked for a box that was properly sealed as was getting the feeling that alot of them are returned. We got half way through one fence and the nozzle was continuously blocking up about every 10 palings. Not a good experience with this brand, will probably go back to Wagner which we have had and used on previous houses. I hope our returned one isn’t taped back up and sold to someone else.
5 stars for the sprayer; 1 star for the poor instructions and support from Ozito, Beware an open box - parts will have been taken.Sprayer applies paint like a champ. You'll go through a 4L tin before you know it. It'll take longer to clean up than do the paint job, especially for oil based paints. Speaking of oil based paints, it's hard to get the pressure perfect and the pump can struggle a bit with heavier paints. Perhaps thinning would have worked well, despite the advice in the manual not to.Now to the bad: the spray tip has two tiny parts, a washer and spacer. The instructions fail to mention these parts when they tell you to prime the gun, so guess what - if you follow the instructions, you will lose the parts. So either ignore the manual re. disassembling ... More5 stars for the sprayer; 1 star for the poor instructions and support from Ozito, Beware an open box - parts will have been taken.Sprayer applies paint like a champ. The instructions fail to mention these parts when they tell you to prime the gun, so guess what - if you follow the instructions, you will lose the parts. So either ignore the manual re. disassembling the spray gun, or make darned sure you remove the parts before proceeding.I contacted Ozito, who were useless and advised I order a replacement tip - $60-70! The first sprayer I bought - last one in stock - was missing the entire red spray tip. I have to assume other customers have had exactly the same experience as I, and have simply helped themselves to a "spare part". Given the poor instructions that lead directly to the loss of these parts, and Ozito's lack of support, I can see why someone might be tempted to do that. Fortunately I've found that I can buy replacement tips elsewhere.
I purchased this painting system 2 months ago. it has cut painting time by 75 % , truly a great buy. the only complaint is when spraying it leaves a track or streak mark in the painted surface.. but just like airless paintsprayers i have used (5x the price) i just roll over it.. you might then say why not roll the lot and l would reply you must be crazy l can paint a two bedroom house in under an hour .... try doing that with a roller ..Great buy
I've tried to spray-paint fence palings first and later my timber ceiling. Both times water-based paints, undiluted as per instructions. The unit produced more mess than was bringing me any return of investment. followed instructions to the T, sprayed for 10sec, then just spluttering paint which I needed to roll over by hand. waste of money. I hope Bunnings will provide a refund. Never again.
