Bought this to cut a vine down after borrowing a friends AEG which was used to cut up fallen tree limbs . Like hot knife through butter!!!Oh boy ozito is a real disappointment. Vibrates takes for ever to cut through even the smallest of branches

It's not a bad saw but it won't cut anything that's not solidly anchored in some way. It's not the easiest saw to use but I would recommend it just the same. Make sure you are buying it for the right reasons, it's not a general purpose saw and sometimes a hand saw will do the job better.

Awesome, needed this for a small job, so just wanted a "cheapie". Ended up using it alot more than I thought. I read the previous review & have to admit, the blades which come in the pack are good to get started, however buy good quality blades & you'll thank me later. Another great value for money Ozito product

Worked well, did everything I asked of it in building a deck and great value for moneyOnly 3 stars as the red trigger button fell off in first 30 seconds and was broken inside.
Brought this about a year ago to chop up a dead 15 metre high tree, worked perfectly, made the job a breeze, then used it to chop through the roots around the stump and then chop up the stump, bloody fantastic tool, highly recommend. Very easy and quick blade change. Don't need to buy some fancy expensive machine as this will do the job.
Had this reciprocating saw for about 4 or 5 years now, honestly, such a good tool to have , im a carpenter by trade, i do own the makita cordless reciprocating saw for work for cordless convience , but this saw was what i used before that, and still use it , great power, very handy for aroundf the house, like for tidying up the garden, pruning branches etc, very impressed with the quality of this tool, would definitely recommend, its a beast in a cheap package , if you not bothered by having to run a power lead, this is a useful tool to add to the garden tool arsenal, even for work if you happy to run a lead
Gets the job done, a little on the heavy side for me, definately need 2 hands to use safely. But it easy to use, change blades etc... As long as you keep it firmly pressed up to timber vibration is reduced. Comes in a great case, easy to store away.
Machine works fine. Use better blades than the ones in the original box and it will work fine. But, the plastic trigger button broke in the inside (the part that holds on the trigger button to the switch.) Other reviewers have also commented on this weakness in the plastic buttons breaking down. My machine is only 8 months old and has only been used for dinner light b garden pruning, not much use at all.
This is my second OZITO reciprocating saw. I bought my first one 12 or 13 years ago. Somehow I lost it! So, I bought this brand spanking new model! It's the same as the old one only more modern and refined. For example, changing blades is so simple with this one. No need for an allen key - just twist and fir and in a matter of seconds you're ready to go again. It came in a huge plastic box, that will keep it pristine and not all jumbled up with all my other tools. Ergonomically it is much more superior than the more than a decade one that I used to have. Ozito definitely keeping ahead of the curve.
I’ve had this saw about 4 years and have beaten it to death on demos and Reno’s. get the brand name demo saw blades and it cuts all timber including nails. It’s finally died after good use so I’ll be replacing it now. I’m tempted to get a brand like aeg but this just kept going.
