I have a njmber of Power Xchange tools and although pretty happy with quality and performance, I have found that the batteries do not tend to last as long as some other brands. I have had a 4 Ah and a 2Ah fail well within the warranty period. Unfortunately I cannot locate sales receipt for proof of purchase

I have waited a couple of years to review. Batteries tend to fail if not used regularly or they can drop a cell, I have exchanged 2 within warrantee period but others have failed outside warrantee with little use. If you have a few PCX tools and are DIY infrequent use you are better to have fewer batteries and buy new as needed, I have found the 2amp and 4 amp to be the best for age longevity, Tip you can jump start a non charging battery with a fully charged battery

Got the smaller battery and that works fine for the paint sprayer. It ran out of power before l ran out of interest. Decided a bigger one would be better for me. And use the smaller for cleaning up .
Battery works exactly the same as the red series with the same performance. I was using the ozito 184mm brushless circular saw and got the same run time.
I have several Ozito 18V products. This battery is well priced and I love having an additional 4ah battery. Prompt delivery from Bunnings during lock down which was awesome.
Good battery, have been using with ozito chainsaw. Running time 45min and only used 2 bars. I like the bars showing how much power is available.
Snap these up when you can, they are very cheap for what is a relatively decent battery. Cells internally appear to be the same as the red battery, TP branded 2000mAh lithium ions, circuitry is near identical, but the difference is the price is way cheaper!Runtimes with these are substantially better than the smaller batteries. Haven't compared to the larger 5.2Ah one but I'm happy enough with these.
Apart from aesthetics and the 30% cheaper price of the "black series", I can't tell the difference between the 4.0A batteries in the Ozito PXC range; they appear to offer the same solid power and decent runtime. However, those with money to burn may prefer red because everybody knows red goes faster.
I have a veritable stable of Ozito 18V tools and am always looking for extra / spare batteries. This $48 ‘black’ battery is identical to the $69 ‘red and black’ one. Hello! It’s not rocket science.
