Just bought a week ago after reading the mixed reviews.I decided for the price id just return it if it was no good. I'm pleasantly surprised at how good this speaker is for the price!Of course its not an Ultimate Ears boom box. But at $29 NZD what do you expect?Im super happy this is exactly what I was looking for. I had to do the review here because they have removed this from the NZ bunnings site for some reason. I guess I got the last one they had at Bunnings in Dunedin.I wanted something I can use at work sites for music and podcasts with a long battery life and then I thought hey I already have Ozito batteries so I was so happy to find this. I had already bought the Ozito radio 2 years back and it was abysmal! Terrible sound and reception. And it costs $80 with no bluetooth or anything. And they are still selling that heap of junk! This little unit has 2 passive radiators and the actual speakers are behind the red plastic grills. So it has 360 sound and some bass thanks to the passive radiators. The ozito radio just had one crappy little speaker. Honestly for $29 you could buy a really crappy standard bluetooth speaker from the warehouse and it would last for 4 hours on a charge and youd need 4 hours to charge it. This speaker lasts for several days on a 4ah battery. Its small and light and easy to throw in a bag for camping or for working in the garden. A very happy camper!

I used this for 1 day. I generally love Ozito stuff and recommend it to others but this little speaker is definitely a dud. Towards the end of it's 1-day-use it had begun distorting very noticeably at low volume. It also has a tight fit with a 4.0ah battery so you have to use quite a bit of force to remove it from the battery, which is annoying. The USB outlet is probably the only worthwhile feature. My advice is to spend your money on something else for your music, JBL, etc. Ozito make good powertools and garden products, but not speakers.

I purchased this earlier in the week. It works well functionally however it has no bass and sounds tinny and can't get much volume out of it especially if using outdoors. I'll be returning mine.

Has a USB output too!Good little speaker. 4Ah lasts more than a day. It’s a $40 speaker ignore the poor quality speaker reviews. Seriously what do you expect.
It's just OK... certainly no JBL. I use it to listen to audiobooks while I'm working, the sound quality is not really good enough for music. The Bluetooth connects really fast and a 2AH battery lasts for ages unless you're charging your phone off it. The USB charger is quite slow (1A or something I think)
Not working good. speakers damaged is few days and very low voice
I bought this speaker so that I could listen to music whilst working in the shed. It's certainly loud enough but the sound quality is quite tinny. It's adequate for a bit of background noise at home in the shed / garage / garden.
Working outdoors, l damaged all my expansive speakers, this little one works for me , it's not the most powerful, but l don't need to worry too much if l damage it! And battery last all day.If you work whit no much noises around, it's good enough!Depends from your work environment for sure.
Love Ozito products as they are often great value for money. This speaker is not good. I wanted it to be good as it is super convenient to simply chuck in a fresh battery. The sound output is just terrible. If you play anything with any base anywhere near top volume (which isn't even loud) the sound gets super distorted.
the output /quality would be at a value of 10$ if that ! honestly.im glad the rest of thisPXC 18v range is very good!unfortunately this speaker isnt.
