Had heaps of different chairs over the years from $10 cheapies to $100 "deluxe" versions. All have failed. These chairs are the best I've ever had. Been thrashed, thrown in the trailer, strapped to the roof, buried in sand, had kids piled on them, never an issue. No damage. Always fold and open. The bag is also big enough to not need an origami degree to put them away.

This is the second Oztent King Goanna we have purchased. Hotspot is a nice addition and congratulations to Snowy's for selling chair with the hotspot pack included (not all retailers do - so do your research).

Great chair by Oztent. Buyer be aware chair does not come with any hotspot pouch. Every other retailer includes one but not BCF. When speaking with Oztent head office I was advised that Oztent supply the chairs to ALL retailers with 1 hot spot pouch included. Seems like BCF have decided to not include the 1 pouch and add it to their own inventory of stock to purchase.
Brought this chair as a Christmas gift for my Grandson who at just under two metres tall sometimes experiences back problems especially after a hard day trail bike riding. He just loves how comfy the chair is and how the heatpacks definately assist with his back and take no time to reactivate. Have to say I nailed that present - and it arrived only days after I ordered it online!
Terrible. Bought two chairs and used twice. The engineering in these chairs is flawed. The pins/rivets used at cross members twist and put undue stress on plastic components at either end of the tubes. These in turn either crack, snap and/or bend the tubes. Any weight on the arm rests (like when getting up or just resting your arm on them), pulls the front arm rest tube backwards. This in turn twists the front cross member and damaging the cross member pin. Had two bolts fail on both chairs on top of the pin problem. The small lock nuts are not enough to handle and load whatsoever and in one particular spot, the casting does not allow for the nut to be put on the bolt far enough, this is what caused the two nuts to come off. They are very comfortable to sit in but with design flaws I would definitely avoid at all cost. The chair does come with a warning (small tag on under side of chair), "DO NOT USE ON UNEVEN GROUND". So try and find a perfectly flat (stable), level ground when camping let alone the beach.
I love this chair. Bought it for the man of my dreams, who took weeks to disclose his age - no hope of finding out his weight. I'm not petite and it holds us both at once! Not too excited about the hotspots, they're a bit of messing around. A woollen blanket, or even better a doona thrown over the chair, makes it nearly as comfy as a lounge - it's a favourite spot to curl up.
This chair is very comfortable, the only thing I would say is that it is made for taller people. I am about 5 foot 6 inches and my feet dont lay flat on the ground and so it is a little uncomfortable on my thighes - but that is just me and I am not scoring this lower because its so sturdy and comfortable otherwise.
Exchanged my darche vipor chair I broke after a week on one of these king goannas. Beautiful solid chair, comfy and I havent even used the hot pockets yet.
