Excellent quality airbrush for the price. Best purchase I have made for my model painting. Much better then the cheap china junk airbrush I haf before. Only thing that's a bit annoying is that you will need a hose adapter for the Paasche. (Like 6 to 7 dollars extra) but well worth the purchase. They are american made airbrushes so if you like supporting American business like I do then you can have buyer's confidence in regards to this great airbrush

nice big spray nozzles with a square wrench make switching nozzles a breeze. keep the paint thinned or use the .66mm nozzle to prevent clogging...paint has to have the viscosity of milk or any airbrush will clog. keep your air bush rinsed and clean with window cleaner with ammonia.

I am a hobby airbrusher, doing mostly t-shirts for my grandchildren, with occasional attempts at 'art' (mostly flights of fantasy on my part!).I like the way the brush handles and the control that is designed in. I also like the fact that the cups or jars dont fall off on the project. My expectation that changing colors would be easy was a mistake. the bottom of the reservoir is too large and holds a lot of residual paint. To get it clean, I have to remove the needle and take several cotton swabs to dig out the paint. This has to be repeated several times before the 'bleed over' is eliinated. It is almost faster to change colors on the Millinium or VL series. Other than this one thing...I love it.BTW: hae owned about 2 years.

I do not use an airbrush often, but enough that every few years I have to replace one. I have always bought Paashe because of their reputation, quality, and ease of use. I am very happy with the Talon, which is my first gravity feed unit. Mostly I use it to spray leather stains, but I have also thinned down some acrylic colors and sprayed through the Talon. It is super easy to use and I wish I would have used a gravity feed long ago. I think the Talon is the hands down best unit in this price range.
Very affordable. Gave the airbrush a test run did fine lines for detail exactly what I wanted and exactly what I got. Might even buy another one.
Does not spray well at all. The trigger has a catch when you push it. It's rough when you pull back for paint. I've tried all I know to make it spray with no luck and I have several airbrushes. So this one will not get used. A waste of money for me.I really wanted it to work. I have a couple of cheep $20.00 ones that work much better. I will not be buying anymore Paasche products.
What makes the Talon such a good brush is that it is both gravity-fed and easy to disassemble for cleaning. Paasche makes other styles of brushes that are siphon-type brushes, but these are not as reliable as a gravity-fed brush, because the siphon brushes always have to have a certain amount of paint in their jar in order to spray. As well, a certain amount of paint is wasted in siphon brushes because all the paint in the suction jar is not used up. With a gravity-fed brush you add just the amount of paint you need to the cup, and after spraying, run cleaner through the brush; disassemble it to clean it if needed, and you are ready for your next project. I would recommend this brush for both the experienced airbrusher as well as someone looking for their first brush.
Great air brush!!!! Only thing I would suggest is buying the one with the hose. It takes a smaller size thread than any of the hoses I had/have and had to buy an adapter for it. Really smooth and does really good small line work. The action on it and spring tension isn't heavy even out of the package. Wish I would have bought these from the get go and not the cheaper master air brushes!
A little "heavy" for ultra fine work, But pair it up with the Badger Sotar 2 in one and you will have everything you could possibly want for illustration, well that and a tank with a compressor and its just like having a adjustable pen that goes from hairline to 3/4" and from very, very light to solid colors. It is very affordable, you can convert it to a .2 for about $20 or less with another nozzle and needle and switch between the 2, Parts are very cheap in price, quality is great. Ease of use is great. Hope they will start selling the TALON 2 in 1 soon. Still a great deal for Illustrators.
this is a well engineered piece of equipment at a very reasonable price. i have yet to use it but i have been a paasche user for 45 years and have never had a failure. i have worn out parts but no failure due to equipment. i highly recommend this airbrush to anyone; beginners or well oiled modelers of 60+ years such as myself. it's just swell!! thank you.
