There is an addition to PAC-MAN's moveset in the form of the flutter, which allows the player to stay in the air a little longer in case a jump comes up just short. It was very intuitive to used, but feels a bit like its only needed because of stiffness in the controls. Faithfulness to the original game also means that the bosses are more or less in-tact. If anything, they are a bit easier than in the original game (especially in the ruins where each pad is now connected). As a result of this, however, the game can feel a bit outdated at points though it still holds up very well.PAC-MAN WORLD Re-PAC doesn't feature a lot of worlds, but each one is quite unique and comes with a very different boss. You'll traverse carnivals, ruins, space, and more, all of which feature unique gimmicks that keep the game fresh. These were of course already featured in the original PAC-MAN WORLD, but they continued to be refreshing in the remake.If you were a fan of the original PAC-MAN WORLD, you'll notice that a few of the characters (no Ms. PAC-MAN) were switched out and the voices were removed entirely. It's not necessarily a negative, the game is perfectly fine without them, but it does somewhat impact the game's atmosphere.

A hard Pass!!

I would probably avoid this game. The game is a bit confusing to play. The graphics are bit old and not to scale of a PS5 counsel game I would expect. The game play is boring. I wouldn't waste my money on this game in the future if I had my choice to repurchase this game.

Fun PacMan for the whole family

This is really a fun game for the family including kids and adults. I just started playing the game and have enjoyed it a lot. Can’t wait to show and play with my grandson. He will love it!!!

Great remake, but a mid game is its foundation

Pac-Man World was never really a groundbreaking game, even at its initial release. It had at least three titles to take inspiration from: Super Mario 64, Sonic Adventure, and Crash Bandicoot. It seems to have taken the most inspiration from the third, but that one is worth playing more. It's definitely a remake with a lot of effort put in it, but it's a better idea to wait until Pac-Man World 2 gets this treatment.

Great remaster with a dose of Nostalgia

If you loved the originals ,you will love the Remaster. Lots of fun and nostalgia, I forgot how challenging this game can be also. Highly recommend for retro gamers looking for a dose of nostalgia.

Nostalgia!

Great graphics and gameplay. I hope that a lot of people buy this game so that they will make a remake of Pac Man World 2!! I grew up playing World 2 on the GameCube. So happy to see that this series is getting a remake!

Pac Man Nostalgia with a Twist

This is a fun game. I bought it for my teenager who did not want to play my retro - arcade Ms. Pac-Man game. She said Pac-Man World is fun for a platform video game, although it is not very challenging. The graphics/visuals are pretty good, and there are multiple worlds to play through.

Pellet munching machine

Can somebody say, nostalgia!? I haven't played it yet, so I can't comment on how fun it is or isn't. I wish included were the original version of the game or even super Pac-Man, but pretty they're not included as there's no such mention in the advertisement or on the packaging. Having said that, looking forward to what they did with this latest version of the game.

Works great and pretty much almost no scratches

I would gladly give it a 5 starts but the games wont save using a ps2 slim mostly it has to do with the console. The only issue I ran to so far it ran at first after I turn it off and came back to it it wouldnt ran but it started to work. Some to no scratches amazing thanks for making a dream come true of owing the first pac man world

great game with new coat of paint

Great game, if you play it back on the PSX. it got a new coat of paint. only thing is missing is repac of the second and third game. great game specially for kids
