I absolutely love this shake for my kids! I have 2 boys, aged 2 and 8....I really struggle finding vitamins for under 3 year olds other than drops (yuck) so this is perfect for my youngest! I give my boys a balanced diet but I like to give them vitamin supplements too just to ensure they get enough, and this milkshake is a delicious and simple way to get that goodness into them! It's really easy to mix up, I like the fact that you just use water and not milk (much simpler and cheaper), and the consistency is smooth! I have personally had powdered milkshakes that no matter how much you mix it up it is still grainy, but this is perfect. And my boys love it! My son has a very restrictive diet due to sensory issues and ASD. this was recommended to me by his dietitian as he didn’t like any of the ‘prescribed’ ones, he loves it when asks for his pink drink, so I can rest easy knowing that atleast my son has had a recommended amount of vitamins and minerals in a day, so if he then only eats mash potatoes it’s not such a big concern 💕

I bought 2 tins on assumption that it has the same ingredients as Pediasure (overseas version), but it doesn?t! It doesn?t contain choline! Not many kids get enough choline in food (show me a child that eats at least one egg per day?my kids don?t). I won?t be buying Paediasure UK version again. I checked Ensure powder which is an adult version of this product and it does contain choline. I will just stick to overseas PediaSure if occasionally need to supplement kids when they are sick etc.
Having a very fussy 2 year old eating very little I was hoping this would provide me reassurance she was getting all she needed but wouldn't touch the stuff! My 9 year old however LOVES it and it is just so good knowing she's getting all she needs from it. Extraordinarily high in sugar but she has a low sugar diet most days anyway. Its great to have that little bit of reassurance.I found it a bit of a faff to make, measuring out the water and very difficult to get out the lumps I found. I'm sure there's a knack to it once you've made it enough times. Tins aren't very big, you get about a weeks worth in it but I don't give her one every day so it has lasted a while now for us.
I got a free sample from abbot and this is honestly the best nutri shake ever. My daughter tried ensures, fortisips and she hated the taste and she would aways throw up. This one is a silky smooth shake, has a great taste and my daughter loves it. If your child doesn't want to eat you need to try it. Highly recommend!
It’s hard to get my little one to eat a good breakfast before rushing off to nursery, so I thought I’d give this a try.My little one likes that he can have a “protein shake same as Daddy” and when I asked what he thought of it he gave it a thumbs up.The shake is made up with water and easily mixes in. If your little one doesn’t manage a full portion, it’s easily kept in the fridge for 24hrs.I like that the tin is widely recycled.My only criticism is I didn’t realise the sugar content was so high. It’s got 11g of sugar per serving. The NHS recommend children aged 4-6 years have no more than 19g sugar per day, so it’s nearly 60% of his daily sugar allowance in just one serving.Also there’s only 8 servings per pack so it can be a bit costly.
Delicious flavour. My son loves this drink and says it's really creamy even on water. It has given him lots of energy and he's started to put on weight. He used to be all ribcage and I was worried he was too skinny but this drink has filled him out more.
I was sent this to review and I was initially a bit unsure about this product- the ingredients list reads like a periodic table! However, I figure we do give our children vitamins so wed try it and upon mixing it up it smelt like vanilla ice cream and I was sure my two children would enjoy this different drink - how wrong I was! Neither my six year old or three year old would finish their glass - they didnt like the taste. Im surprised as to me it tasted lovely - very sweet and artificial- like slim fast used to!! A useful product for the occasional drink for children if theyll drink it, but its no substitute for proper food!
My very fussy son tested PaediaSure chocolate shake and found it very tasty. This drink is the first thing he requests in the morning. It has a delicious chocolate milky flavour and its preparation is very easy. My son prefered version with milk instead of water and I could see after few days that his apetite grows and he feels full of energy. It makes me very happy since I have always been concerned about his imunity and lack of vitamins and minerals because he eats just about 4 different meals at the moment. PaediaSure shake gives me a peace of mind that my son gets what he needs while he is enjoying what he really likes. Win win for everyone, I highly recommend to try it!
