This product is pure moisture. It comes in solid form that melts when rubbed and massaged into the skin. It transforms into a very rich body butter/ body oil hybrid. This product is greasy, so it is best used at bedtime. After application, even the driest and roughest skin is glowing with hydration and extremely soft. This product can be used all over the body, but it is especially effective on the driest areas, like the feet, hands and cuticles, knees and elbows. I am impressed with how deeply moisturized and soft my skin is after using this product. I can overlook the greasy residue it leaves on the skin because it would not be nearly as moisturizing without the rich oils contained in this formula.

I have been using palmers cocoa butter solid jar product for over 30 years. The new formula is absolutely terrible. The ingredients are cheap and they dried out my skin. Tried the new “original formula” for 6 months. The color, smells, consistency have all changed. Noticed it immediately upon opening the first jar. I started having breakouts after the 2nd month. I have NEVER had breakouts. Used to swear by this as my go to regime. It’s sad when companies choose profits over quality believing their brand identify will keep customers. Now my family and I are searching for a suitable natural cocoa butter. Bring back the original formula with the original quality of ingredients!

Produce change in ingredients

It has much changed. I am not an expert but there are so many additives in like. First ingredient on your Skin Therapy formula is CANOLA OIL!? That’s very dangerous from cancer to toxic herbicides. Cocoa should be much higher on the list of ingredients. I purchased this bottle a year ago and it’s still sitting in my bathroom almost full. I won’t be using it. I hope others research your product ingredients. The newer generation doesn’t know the difference as your product was once pure and genuine but the older generation does notice. Sorry Palmers. After all these years you have let me down.

I have used Palmer's Cocoa butter for the majority of my life. it only helps keep my skin even toned, it definitely has helped with blemishes and scars that us ladies sometimes end up with at that time of the month. I rub my feet down after a good pedicure and it keeps those elbows and knees nice and smooth. I don't think there's a bad thing you can say about Palmer's products but especially this cocoa butter.
