Palmer's Coconut Oil Formula Body Lotion 400 ml

I enjoy using this moisturizer, especially because my skin can be on the drier side most days. It really helps to soften my skin making it feel and look softer. Another reason I love this product is because I hardly find moisturizers that work for me and this has been doing a good job thus far. The packaging is another plus for the product as it is spill proof and the pump makes it easily accessible. I would definitely recommend to others.

I think because I used this brand while I was a child I wanted to LOVE it this product. The scent is amazing!!! The first few days, I raved about how light weight this lotion was. Especially because my last lotion was making me SWEAT because it was too thick. However After a week of using this product consistently I realized I was becoming ashy hours after I applied this product. I developed a litttle bit of dry skin on my thigh that started to peel and when I discontinued using the lotion it went away! I stopped using it and tried it again and the peeling started again. I want to add I have exzema! Again, like most palmer's products, this smells amazing and has a nice silky feel to the lotion itself. That being said the consistency is way thinner than I prefer, same with the coconut oil body wash as well. I also was kinda disappointed at how dry my skin still was after using this. Which really kinda sucks because the scent on this stuff is beyond words. I absolutely love it. But I would recommend you try this and see if it would work for your skin just based on its scent lol.

This was my go to lotion with my last pregnancy. It was so moisturizing and helped ease my itching belly and reduce redness and stretch marks. The formula deeply penetrated the skin for long lasting moisture. The scent was gorgeous and reminded me of a tropical drink or vacation. It left the skin once dry without a greasy feel, however, it did take some time to dry down and absorb into the skin.

Awful lotion. Formula changed to worse.

I bought my first Palmer's lotion back in late 2020 or early 2021 or so. The lotion formula looked very much like their balm oil, thick and yellow. My skin absolutely loved it. I bought the same lotion, but I guess they changed their formula and look a while back. The current lotion now has a very light and white texture, and smells like coconut water (which isn't bad). The problem has to do with something in their new formula. After 3-5 days of application, the skin on my stomach has increasingly become gritty. No matter how much more lotion I applied, the skin became flakier and grittier. The skin felt like rough sandpaper and I couldn't take it anymore. Def. moisturizes

Definitely moisturizes and helps with stretch marks. I used this while I was pregnant with both my daughters and I honestly did NOT get 1 stretch mark. 1 day while I was pregnant I was getting an ultrasound. My midwife said I have to tell you, you have the pretties pregnant belly. I was like what, yay right. She said no really you are the only pregnant woman that does not have not even 1 stretch mark. She said every woman get stretch marks especially through and from have a baby. It’s normal since your skin has to stretch and get bigger and then when you have the baby your stomach goes back to being empty. Your skin freaks out and reacts by causing stretch marks. GORGEOUS LOTION, Absolute HEAVEN in a bottle!!! <3

Absolutely GORGEOUS lotion!! So glad I found this online seriously. I've used the Cocoa butter version of this lotion in the past but boy oh boy have I fallen in love with this one!! When I took a whiff of the unopened bottle, I initially thought that I might be hit with a strong nasty smelling cheap synthetic coconut scent, but thankfully I was wrong, the smell is DIVINE!! Now I know that the ingredients do state that "Fragrance (Parfum)" was used, meaning it does indeed contain some synthetic fragrance oil, but I have to say this smells exactly, and I mean exactly, like pure Coconut. Not just Coconut oil, but like Coconut milk or even Coconut yoghurt I'd say, it's absolutely lush! Anyhow it smells fab and is not a strong scent either. Now consistency wise this lotion is slightly on the thicker side, it's more buttery than my usual lotions (which I usually prefer watery, just because I find those sink in quicker and hydrate via water content as opposed to just oils/fats) however this is beautiful. After the initial application, it goes on smoothly and within 30 seconds it's sunk wonderfully into the skin, leaving a trail of plush Coconut scent in its wake. There is no residue of any kind left behind after this, so no grease/oil or powdered substances, just wonderfully hydrated skin. Seriously if you're into all things Coconut and want to feel like a Goddess try this you've got nothing to lose! It's sheer pampering lusciousness all in a bottle! Do remember that this is a lotion so if on the other hand you're looking for something that will leave a deeper oilier/moisturised mark (like you'd get when rubbing carrier oils such as Olive oil on the skin) then perhaps look at this same brand's butter varieties of body creams they'll probably suit you better. Anyhow that's my two scents, love love looooove this lotion and will be back for more!! Please Superdrug do heed this message - please DO NOT stop selling this, please keep it on sale always it saddens me so much whenever I see good products get discontinued like a certain other well known company I won't mention has done. Please keep products like this available, they work it's simple as that. Thanks again!

Has Some Great Qualities

As a lotion, this product is just OK. I don’t find it to be super rich, but your skin won’t be dry (at least not in summer). What I found amazing is that I’d had an eczema outbreak and wasn’t sure if the lotion was to blame. I had intended to stop using it, but forgot and accidentally rubbed it over the eczema patches—gone the nest day! So while I would have given this a pretty average rating before, that put it over the top. I’ve had prescription creams that did NOT work as well, so kudos Palmer’s! I started using this because of amazing results with the face moisturizer, which is a gel cream consistency. I was hoping for something similar with the body lotion but it’s a pretty thick, but not rich lotion that is hard to rub in. New Formula; not the same

While I still like this product, it doesn't even compare to the original formula with the brown top pump. That was the coconut oil body lotion. And that was the best lotion EVER!!! This new re-packaged formula is just not the same. I am SO saddened by this change. Dear Palmers.... PLEASE bring back the old formula!!! It was so much richer and actually made a difference on my skin. This new formula is so lightweight, it doesn't do much but smell good. I am a long time, loyal customer, and love everything about your products. Please reconsider bringing back the original lotion!!!
