Palmer's Shea Formula Raw Shea Body Lotion 1L

I always buy it while looking for something new. but it is like a base, I always have it in stock. Works great for me. Pleasant, not strong smell, moisturizes and cares for the skin. I don’t like only dispenser in this bottle. It is terrible, and constantly dried up cream in the spout.

"A Scent To Remember"

A lightly scented fragrance that my family and I enjoy. Because this company cannot please only Miss Kitty, I wished the scent would not fade after every application. I would like the scent to last a few hours because I am a fragrance type of person who loves smells. Although this is true, I appreciate the smell regardless of the fading scent. Please only apply to the major areas because the hidden area is a no, no! Thanks in advance!With appreciation,Miss Kitty

Change it back!

I’ve been using this specific lotion for a few years now. I just got two replacement bottles and they are so different. One bottle has a little more writing in it such as “dermatologist approved” and they took “new look” off the front. The other bottle is older. The newer bottle STINKS. It smells like loose change when I rubbed it in. I’m not sure what yal did but please change it back. The ingredients are the same but something is off.

Disappointed

I have been a faithful purchaser of the old Shea butter formula for my elderly mom and I...we both loved it! It was creamy and moisturised without leaving a thin film or greasy feeling and the scent...it was heavenly! So pleasant and mild. Yesterday, I went to purchase another bottle and noticed the new packaging. Thinking that the formula was the same, I purchased it. What a terrible disappointment!!! I applied some lotion and the consistency was much thinner and left a wet, sticky feeling afterwards. And, the new scent is awful! It is very offensive, persistent and overly perfumed. I tried to wash it off my hands and the scent still persisted. Why would this company decide to change perfection? Please! Return the old formula...you had a real winner in it.

Dries my skin a lot

Smells awful. After applying it to my hands, there is a toxic, like "superglue smell" that stays for a while. Instead of moisturizing my skin, it makes it dry, where my skin on the palms gets all tight and kind of wrinkled. When I apply a different lotion,I don't have such an issue. Maybe too much alcohol or other chemical was added.

Not impressed

I bought the new formula after searching for the old formula which I loved. I want to plead with Palmers to bring back the old formula again. You could sell both. Personally, I prefer the old formula as it seem many others do also. Please reconsider the old formula.

Not the same

I’ve been using this specific lotion for years. I just ordered a replacement and I ordered two bottles. The 2021 bottle smells exactly how my current bottle smells, they’re from the same year. I also received a 2022 bottle and it smells like loose change. It doesn’t have that warm scent as previous bottles. I put the lotions on each arm and the 2022 arm smells horrible. Idk what yal did but please change it back. The ingredients are the same but something is off.

Older version better than new version

Used to be good but ever since they changed the outer design, it has not been the same. It's now saturated and it smells bad. The new outer design is nice but the lotion itself has been saturated. This used to be my favorite lotion but not anymore. Please change the lotion back to how it used to be. Thanks. This is an honest review.

Original Shea Butter formula is the best

I used the original shea butter formal forever! I'm not a fan of cocoa butter and shea butter has always been my saving grace. After recently depleting my supply of the Palmers original shea butter I went to the store to discover this new package and formula. I was disappointed instantly but I bought it anyway. I tried it twice and loathed it. The smell is horrible & it doesn't feel the same on my skin. I returned the product to my retailer and have been on the hunt for another perfect lotion. This was a horrible. Change the package not the product formula! I'm sure the other reviews that trashed the changes but still rated it with three stars meant to give it one star. Just 2 days and I was already seeing improvement .my skin was radiant as ever, glowing soo well and I had this velvety texture. My feet was awesome with radiance and glow wow I can't wait to use it for a month. My face is well toned and o love it. Am an African and over here in Africa shea butter is soo cheap but I don't use iy cause its unrefined and thus soo oily to be used in the African weather filled dust but this lotion gave me a fair tone and I love it.am sooo recommending it to everyone. I love the fact that its mineral oil free cause I have an oily face but not prone to acne .palmer's please don't stop producing it cause I feel it was made just for me.just produce more of the old one so you don't lose customers but don't stop producing the old one too.
