I bought this shaver to replace my previous Panasonic shaver the ES8101. The old shaver gave a good close shave, and proved super reliable. I must have had it at least 4 years and shaving only 2 or 3 times per week, never had to change the foil or blades in all that time, and it still shaves fine today. Hardly cleaned it, treated it rough, rarely oiled it, and it lasted the distance. Hopefully this newer model will be the same. The new shaver looks very similar but has an extra couple of foils, and shaves a bit better. This could be mostly because the blades/foils are sharper because they are new, but it's probably aided by whatever advances put in place. I have sensitive skin and get less shaver rash with the new shaver. Also seems less 'grabby' i.e. don't get that whisker pull. Once again, could be the newer foil, but I'm pleased regardless. Both the old and new shavers work best with my whiskers 2 or 3mm long, but still very good whether shorter or longer. I bought this shaver on special for $189 (which is a lot more than I paid for my last Panasonic) and the next shaver up in the range was only about $50 more, but the shaver head seemed too big for me as I have a moustache and beard and need to get in around the corners of my mouth. I'm super happy with the ESLF51 but if I had no facial hair, would have bought the next model up, which is meant to be a far more advanced model. But for the amount of neck/face shaving and trimming I do, this model was all I needed. Only think I'd change is make it so that you could shave with the cord in, but it's really not a problem with the new one as you get plenty of warning when you need to recharge, the charge lasts a long time, and I think I read you get 2 more emergency shaves even when it's flat. I recommend this shaver.

Fantastic. I've tried several electric shavers over the years but this is in another league altogether. Even the tough bristles on my top lip and chin are taken off with no problem. It's a shame that I didn't have this weapon years ago.

I actually had the 3 blade shaver but my daughter stole it from me. lol So I was just going to buy the same one again then I found this 4 blade shaver. Boy am I happy that my daughter took my 3 blade shaver away !? This 4 blade is awesome! The blade moves against your body almost like hugging your skin. This is the easiest shave I’ve ever experienced. I like the fact you can shave dry.

I love this thing. I absolutely hate shaving, and this device has saved me time and, more importantly, money, since I don’t have to spend the same money I used to on getting professionally waxed. I use it often on dry skin, but primarily use it for wet shaving since it’s easy to do when I’m in the shower, and I feel I get a better or closer shave when my skin is wet. I was concerned about the grip when used in the shower, but its as easy to hold wet, as it is dry. As for the results of the shave itself. I couldn’t be happier! It’s a nice smooth, lasting shave!
I was skeptical when I purchased but I fell in love right after the first use! It’s so convenient being able to use this wet or dry. And the shave lasts way longer than a normal razor. It left my legs so soft and smooth. I also love the portable charging stand! Would definitely purchase again!
This razor can be used either wet or dry and it’s compact enough that you can bring it when traveling! It has hypoallergenic stainless steel blades that’s great for sensitive skin. It’s also eco-friendly because it eliminates the waste of disposable razors. It’s so great!
Super Smooth!!! I was worried that this shaver would not cut as close as I wanted -- but wow!! my legs are so smooth and soft and no irritation!! I used this wet in the shower with shaving cream and I love the result. Definitely would recommend!!
That’s a great product and it’s so easy to use. First of all stylish rose gold finish and design love it. 2 use it anyhow you want - wet and dry you’ll get beat results every time. So easy to use and my skin smooth and silky every time I use it. Highly recommend
Works well IF it can pick up the hair follicle. Sometimes have to go over the same spot a few times to get strays, even then often there are one or two hairs that it just won't pick up. Found myself having to use a razor to get these instead. Ended up returning to a razor - works faster with a better result.
This electric shaver is super gentle and safe, but also cuts very close. I don't have to worry about irritation or razor burn or accidental cuts like I did with my old disposable shaver. No need for any shaving cream either! Also comes with a travel pouch so you can take it with you anywhere.
