You have to cut it out of the packaging, as a child safety measure - but if you follow the cut lines it still doesnt come out! You have to cut as close to the battery as physically possible.

This is a great replacement battery for most keyless remotes. Purchasing a lot of five makes battery maintenance so easy. When one remote begins to get weak, I just replace batteries in both remotes in both cars. So all four remotes are fresh and I still have one spare battery left.

Great remote works flawless even at long distance still unlocks and locks my car. Almost new condition and original Ford OEM brand. Very easy to program. Just stick the key in and cycle the switch 8 times and the 8th time hit any button and it's programmed.. mine was on a 99 towncar but should work with most other Ford's and Mercury's. Way better than the generic knock off versions.
The batteries arrived very quickly and the price was really great. It was so nice to once again have my weight scale working.
Well, a whole not much to say here, other that this is the correct item for a remote that comes with an Apple TV (I have a 2 and a 3; they both have identical remotes). One battery died, likely as a button on the remote was continuing being pressed while I moved, so I got one and a spare extra. Now the remote works again and it should do for many years.
The directions to find out which key fob battery to use directed me to purchase this product. I discovered upon installation that it was the wrong product. Had to go to auto zone and buy it in person. Some things like this you simply cant buy online with confidence
