Admittedly, I was a little skeptical of buying a restored product, but these guys done an excellent job in timely shipping, the quality of the packaging was exceptional, and then the grand finale of opening this product was all smiles! The product looked great and seems to perform great as well. I would definitely recommend RestorePros for your purchase..

For some odd reason I didn’t get a confirmation email, but my husband has ordered from Esty before with great service so I didn’t worry. We look forward to many fun years looking at and maybe converting old VHS stuff to DVD stuff. Thank you

The DMR-EZ48V was purchased as a replacement unit. The old one broke down over a period of time and some un-finalized discs were unplayable in any other kind of recorder/player. The new machine works "better" than the old one, though, and I'm happy to have it. There are better recorders with more features, but the Panasonic has a good tuner, and the minor inconveniences of not being able to eject from the remote and navigate with less complexity are acceptable. On the whole, it helps you create good quality discs at home for playback on any device, and it serves well for a modest cost.

Came with a swinging broken VHS door. I removed it and have it taped over the hole to keep dust out. Just have to lift it to insert a VHS tape. Otherwise working well and glad to have it
I have had 3 EZ48s and one EZ37. I like them both ,but I have less problems with the older EZ37. It may be because the 37 has no HDMI connection being more analog.The players are still working after 20 years or more. I think PANASONIC makes the best VHS RECORDERS . There is good quality even at the slower speeds.
This DVD VCR is great. It arrived just as described as new. It is great to use with HDMI cable for both VCR & DVD. The picture and sound quality are very good. The display screen can be set to extra bright and that is perfect to read from across the room in the dark. It starts ups quickly once you change the settings to quick start. It plays DVD & VCR tapes created on other machines very well also. Ocassionally it displays error code U99 on the screen and it freezes. This is a problem with some of Panasonics machines. I have had this model before and you just need to unplug it for 10 seconds or so and then plug it back in and everything is fine. It has great remote control to easy to navigate and several functions
It came through exactly on time. It works extremely well. I hope it just holds up. I've had this model before, and it worked well for several years. I replaced it, but the refurbished unit lasted only a year. This one is new but manufactured a long time ago. I hope it holds up as well as my first one!
The quality of Panasonics VHS/DVD Recorder speaks for itself. Good product. The equipment came as advertised. However I was surprised and disappointed that the remote came with batteries that were leaking. It is not operable. Will you send a good replacement. Thank you. J. From Charlotte
I used several machines to record a vhs tape from a live event in 1996. I tried jvc, akai, Toshiba & then this. The Panasonic was the best all rounder. Picture quality & by far in the sound department. The older akai deck handled fuzzy / interference best but older machines are sometimes better suited to older tapes. The recording process was pretty straightforward & I like the remote. The 48v model seems to be the preferred choice & if you can find a nice one, go for it!
This unit is really a God Send for the people who have precious memories on a Mini DV camcorder tape, VHS cassette, SD Card or USB storage and want to convert this to a DVD. I discovered that My tapes were old enough that they were starting to deteriorate and if I wanted to save the information on them I had to do it. For the most part; this unit is easy to use; though I'm sure there are many features I haven't discovered yet; but I did manage to transfer 20 tapes in two days.
