I've wet shaved for years and decided to try an electric one again after a couple of poor choices some time ago. I've used this dry and with both pre- shave and thin lather and have been surprised by how well this razor shaves either way.

I have had this shaver a week now and use it daily, in comparison to other brands of electric shavers I have owned, this far outshines them all.The charger box / cleaning box is convenient to have along with the digital display, it charges fast, but the best thing is the cleaning function, so handy to keep it running at its best.The shave it gives is excellent, the five blades give the closest shave I’ve had from any electric shaver.It does come with a handy travel case, which is great for me as I travel a lot for work but for the price of the unit, I would’ve expected a leather travel case but it’s not a big deal. Just as described. Has everything I need in an electric shaver. It has a cleaning facility but was disappointed a sachet of cleaning fluid was not included. Had to purchase separately.
I’ve wet shaved all my life but finally decided to go electric to use alongside my trusty 5 blade! Whilst you never get the same closeness with electric this is the next best thing and gives a perfectly good shave as long as you follow the basic instructions. Overall, very pleased with my new razor and the quality you expect from Panasonic.
Returning to electric shaving after 40 years and very surprised at how far the technology has progressed. Took a little while for my skin to adjust, but after a week of use I started to get a very close shave. The cleaning options are great too ( I have the cleaning/charging stand). I would say that you don't really need the cleaning/charging stand at the standard (hand soap) clean is very effective on it's own.
