HOT function dried my hair in half the time of my now retired hairdryer. HOT/COLD alternating feature gives you a salon ready feel to your hair and really does provide shine. COLD feature helps hold your locks in place and is now an important part of my drying routine. I now look forward to drying my hair thanks to the EH-NA98 and my hair feels thicker, smoother and even healthier and I swear if my hair could talk it would be shouting "Thank You" I was given this product to review as part of the Panasonic Reviewer Program.

I've been waiting for this to come on special and I am just delighted with it. There is no doubt it is the best hairdryer I've ever had and I've had many. I have baby fine hair that is in excellent condition, thanks to a brilliant hairdresser and loving care but if not cared for it is a nightmare. The hair dryer is QUIET which is wonderful as I hate noisy appliances. It is very, very well balanced and easy to hold with the surface coated, not shiny/slippery. It is a little heavier than I prefer but because it is so well balanced that isn't an issue. The folding handle makes for easy storage. My hair responds beautifully to this excellent dryer without frizz or dryness. The result is soft, natural and bouncy. A really excellent hair dryer, well worth the cost.

I can literally dry and go without the use of a straighter ( you can see below a picture of my hair after the first use of the hair dryer, hardly any frizz and so straight, I normally have a head full of frizz and links so it's literally that amazing). The booklet you also get inside is very well thought through, gives you a step by step guide on how to dry your hair and what settings to use dependant on your preference, scalp care mode, increased volume and a skin care mode, yes that's what I said a skin care mode, built into a hair dryer that delivers nano sized moisture ions to your skin, what more could you possibly want from a hair dryer. I have very fine hair that is colour treated and I am over 50 as well. Finding a hairdryer that is gentle enough to blow hair without frizzing and damaging is almost impossible. The majority of hairdryers are too hot and feel like they are burning your scalp and the airflow output is too powerful and blowy. With the Panasonic it has a more gently airflow and also warm enough to dry hair without being too hot. It is also fairly quiet compared to many others I have tested out at the shops. I am very happy with purchase. I don't know if this model would be suitable with people that have thicker hair and longer as it may not be as hot as other hairdryers. The other settings on it are very lukewarm and may be better used in summer time or for young kids.

My hair is naturally wavy and it’s very thin/fine so it gets damaged and dry at the ends very easily. 👀 About it The hairdryer came with instruction manual and one attachment nozzle. The hairdryer looks big, but it's not heavy at all. It can be folded and the cord is very long. It has three speeds and you can toggle between five different settings. If I needed to get my hair dry very fast while it was completely wet, I would use hot mode (the default option). At the highest speed it dried my hair much quicker than expected (maybe 5ish minutes). The second option (my favorite) was interchangeable mode. It basically switched between hot and cool. I really liked this option but sometimes ... Like scalp mode, this uses nano-sized moisture ions, but this time it’s for the purpose of preventing your skin from getting too dry. It is supposed to be used to dry your skin and hydrate it but with the electricity being so expensive, who can afford this? I'm gonna rather use hydrating moisturizers. There's a light indicating which setting you're on. 😵💫 Annoying things about it I wish I could select the mode I want before turning it on rather than just starting with “hot”, but it does adapt quickly when you do change it. It can be a bit annoying if you miss the mode you want, and then you have to click through all of them again. When using the modes with nano option, there's a smell that comes from the hairdryer. I cannot explain it, it's not unpleasant but it's noticeable when you dry your hair. Luckily it doesn't stay on your hair so you cannot smell it after drying your hair. 🤔 Did it tackle the issues it promises to solve? *Split ends – I did not notice any difference. I ended up cutting my hair 2 weeks ago, since my split ends were bad. In these 2 weeks, I haven't noticed any new split ends. *Fight frizz – frizz is not an issue for me. It did leave my hair shiny and bouncy. *Infuses your locks with nourishing moisture – again, haven't noticed this either. *Double Mineral Ions penetrate deep into the hair to nourish from within - I can’t see any evidence of this but it says it takes at least 6 weeks to see the difference. *The intelligent sensor adjusts continuously to prevent heat damage – yes it does and I love it! 💸 Is it worth the money? I personally would never buy this hairdryer because in my opinion, it's too expensive. Panasonic is mostly justifying the price by using a lot of tech jargon and since I still cannot see the benefits of the nano and double mineral ions, I just don't see it being worth it. I love the scalp and interchangeable smart temperature option but I feel that might be found in other, bit cheaper hairdryers. I am so happy with this hairdryer. I bought this model rather than the model down because of the folding handle. Very pleased I did so. It is so much lighter in weight than my previous hairdryer. When using the diffuser, the actually hair dryer does not overheat so can be held at the top to add more control. Do beware that the diffuser does get quite hot. Diffuser rotates easily which is useful as you change sides. Hair dried incredibly quickly and was smooth and shiny. I like the extra settings such as cool and scalp - scalp is useful when drying my fringe, and cool is just good for closing the follicles on my hair after I have dried it. Whilst I'm a gadget lover I have never looked at the high end hairdryers previously being of the belief it should just do what it says on the tin so why bother wasting money. I'm now a convert, my hair has never looked healthier I found the different settings incredibly easy to use & during the recent hot weather the intelligent temperature control mode has prevented that hot sticky feeling that I usually get when drying my hair & prevents that limp hair situation caused because your sweating & blowing hot air straight on to your head or is that just me?!? Having never used Nanoe & Double mineral hairdryers previously I was actually shocked at how lightweight, shiny & strong my hair felt & looked within a short space of time. The settings are all one click with clear indication of which setting you are on, so simple to use. The foldable handle makes it easy to store or hang the hairdryer keeping my bedroom looking nice. I found I didn't need to straighten my hair as often which was definitely healthier for my hair. My son suffers with a dry itchy scalp, he said that his scalp was a lot less itchy after using for just a week, hopefully it will continue to get better for him. The one thing I thought must be a gimmick but has actually wowed me is the skin care mode, my OH actually asked if I'd been out for a facial, my skin had a natural healthy glow, the whole process felt really relaxing, it's a pleasure to sit there for a minute, letting the air flow over my face, very relaxing. The hairdryer is lightweight so even tho I have a spinal condition with weakening in my hands & arms I found it easy to use. I haven't done any maintenance on the dryer as of yet but the instruction manual is in plain English, so it seems straightforward & I don't envisage any issues at all. I'm extremely pleased with the hairdryer, it's stylish, easy to use & the quality you would expect from Panasonic. It looks very sleek and professional, it is quite silent (compared to my old one) and easy to use, once you've got the hang of it and read the instructions. What I particularly like about this product is that the display informs you in what mode you have the dryer on, plus you can easily change this with a flick of a button. There is an intellingent temperature control to minimise the damage of the hair and scalp, which has really made a significant difference to me. Compared to my old hair dryer, it dries very quickly, freeing up my time for other things. When I touch my hair, it feels softer and the most important thing is that it doesn't make my scalp itchy afterwards like most hair dryers tend to do. My colleagues at work and friends have also noticed the shine in my hair as well as how my hair isn't looking frizzy and all I've changed is the hair dryer I am using. What a fantastic result! I've attached a photo of my long, sleek, shiny hair - all the credit goes to the brand new Panasonic NA98. I was given this product to review as part of the Panasonic Reviewer program.
A hairdryer so powerful I haven't needed to switch it to the highest speed. I couldn't say for certain whether the condition of my (dyed blonde) hair has improved - apparently, this only happens with continued use and I've only used the dryer three times so far. It does feel a little heavier than I'm used to but if it improves the condition of my hair it will be worth it. I purchased this at a much reduced price, having done plenty of research. I wouldn't have bought it at the full retail price. I don't feel the folding handle is particularly advantageous.
