I have dry and sensitive skin and I get the occasional hormonal acne breakout which really sucks. I got this cream a couple of month ago, planning to add it to my routine, but I completely forgot I had it and kept using retinol instead. The adapalene caused a terrible purge, dried the skin around my mouth and chin, and created a terrible bumpy texture. I applied PanOxyl PM before going to bed and woke up to a significant improvement on all of these fronts. The breakout ... I have very dry and aging skin, plus acne (thank you menopause). I typically use a thick, creamy, anti-aging moisturizer, plus a hydrogen peroxide cream as needed. The PanOxyl balancing repair moisturizer smoothed on nicely without being greasy, but did feel a bit sticky for a little while. This product didn't cause me to breakout nor did it hydrate. It dried out my skin and it burned upon application! I do not have sensitive skin either. I didn't really enjoy the experience of applying this product. The smell was not super strong, but it wasn't exactly pleasant either. The texture of it on my face was kind of tacky, which I also didn't like. I can't say that I benefited much from the product in regards to moisturization, but it did prevent outbreaks. There are other products that I prefer to use over this one if I'm going for the moisture factor. I will not continue to use this product as the burning outweighs the acne prevention. I also don't think it minimized pores. Everyone's skin is different. Maybe it will work better for you?

I tried this PanOxyl Balancing repair moisturizer for about a week and I noticed a huge difference within a few days. My pores appeared to be a lot less noticeable and some of my acne started to go down. I really like this product as it is very hydrating, light weight, non scented, absorbs quickly and leaves my skin feeling soft/smooth. The box says it is free from fragrances, but I kept catching whiffs of a mix between a minty smell and a sour smell that I was definitely not a fan of. I even wondered if it was all in my head, but my fiancé smelled the product straight from the tube and agreed that the smell was a bit off. On the bright side, my face seemed moisturized and the only issue I had was a little bit of skin irritation ... I used this sample for several days and I can tell it's already improved my fine lines. It has made my skin completley renewed and soft. I can barely see any of the fine lines around my eyes and mouth anymore. I love this stuff. I would definitely buy it! I also loved the fragrance and the container it came in. It made my evening skin care routine more enjoyable. I would recommend this product to anyone who hasn't quite gotten wrinkles on their skin yet, but for fine lines... I would go with this every time. I also loved the consistency of the creme and how well it absorbed into the skin. I believe if I keep using this on a regular basis, I will notice even more smoothness.

My face is very dry because of this new regimen and I am sure my moisture barrier is damaged right now. When I apply this it hurts for a couple minutes at a very high level. But that feeling goes away and it actually helps my face so much. before putting it my face is peeling and flaky from the treatments but after applying and after then stinging sensation ends, that evening and in the morning my face feels much better.
