First world problems.I have used some form of grease guns or similar grease delivery products all of my life. This appears to be a quality built product, but it seems to have a couple of issues for me. After multiple attempts, I have been unable to effectively bleed the unit so that it will deliver a full pump of grease. When I depress the applicator, I am only able to get grease from the final 20% of the pump.My other issue is its inherent, top-heavy instability. With the given design, the base is narrow and the upper makes this top-heavy and it wants to easily fall over. If it had a broader base plate to offer stability, I might be more pleased with this.

Great tool for general servicing and upkeep. Excellent that it fits Tubes like Mac-Off bio grease and you can also pack the metal canister with another type of grease. Recommended

It works.

I bought this product with the specific intention of using it to assist me in the performance of a very specific task: the insertion of grease into something. I have to say I was not disappointed. The tool did indeed do what I bought it to do. It moved the grease from the tube into the thing I needed lubricated. I was so happy that I emailed several friends and wrote posts on many social media platforms, saying that I had just put some grease into something. It’s ok
10 December 2021

Looked forward to getting my hands on this. First impression not good. The blue color did not match. The bottom part came lighter than the pump part. Not sure if that’s normal. Photos online show it with the same color. Pump works well.

Leak dirty grease
3 October 2021

The inside barrel reservoir was rusted. After I cleaned out the rust particles and added a piece of rubber on the inside barrel reservoir plunger to prevent the grease from coming out of the bottom. It works great now. But I should not have to fix the product.

Ok tool but not really up to normal park tool standards

I used this grease gun with a tube of park tool grease attached directly. Overall it works but grease comes out inconsistently and with a very thin ‘string’..

Really pumps the grease!
22 March 2022

I bought this mainly because you can attach a tube of grease directly to it instead of filling the cannister. When attaching a tube of grease, I found it easy to get it pumping by squeezing the tube while pumping. Once it starts squirting, no squeezing is necessary. Careful though. I thought I would have to pump like crazy to get started. It started pumping pretty quickly and, when it did, it had great power. I squirt the wall. LOL

The perfect match for Park Tool tubes
8 October 2017

I got four of these. The top attaches perfectly to the standard tubes of lube Park Tools makes (I think they are 4oz). You just have to cut the tube nozzle off down to where the threading starts. Then screw the top of this gun directly to the tube. Be careful not to screw too tightly or it may damage the tube (voice of experience here). This allows for MUCH more precise application than the tube alone. Well worth the price.

Works as you would expect
17 September 2018

Small enough to easily fit in one hand, easy to pump grease out. I find using it "unnecessary" although there is less of a mess when using this. When loading with grease, you have to put grease into the unit in addition to the canister otherwise, no grease will be pumped out.Used it with a tube of teflon grease, no problems. The small nozzle allows you to put a very fine bead of grease down. Larger beads you just move the nozzle slower.I would buy again.

Works ok after alteration
30 June 2020

I loaded the canister with Park grease and it worked for about a minute. As I continued to pull the trigger, grease was seeping out the seal inside the gun. The problem with this tool is that they have made the nozzle hole is too small, clogs easily and requires too much pressure to squirt grease. I enlarged the nozzle hole with the smallest drill bit in my kit, the thing works like a champ and has never failed since the alteration. For what this tool costs it should work out of the box...
