I had never used a torque wrench before and had no idea what I was doing when I purchased this wrench for assembling a new eBike. I watched a couple of youtube videos on how to use any torque wrench and then it was very easy to figure out how to use this Park tool. I have a lot of Park tools for working on my road and mountain bike and this tool was also as high quality as the other Park tools I use. Very happy with how easy this tool was to set-up and use. Would definitely recommend!

My TW-5.2 has barely been used and always stored unloaded, but it already seems to either be out of calibration or broken. I cannot get it to audibly click anymore in either direction, and even the tactile break is unreliable. It seems to still work in one direction, and completely does not occur in the other direction. I've probably used this wrench only about 20 times in its 2 to 3 year lifetime. And I'm not testing it at 2nm. I found out that the wrench became effectively useless when I was tightening some 6nm stem bolts. There's no way that this tool, which is advertised for use in the 2nm to 14nm range, can be unreliable at 6nm. If this is considered the "low" end of the range where the tool is unreliable, then this tool should be advertised for use with a much ... The Park Tool torque wrench is a quality precision tool. I have used my TW-5.2 wrench for some time and it performs as expected. The one issue I do not like with the wrench especially on lower settings is that it does not make an audible click when it reaches its torque setting. You have to watch the wrench to make sure the head deflects when it reaches its torque setting otherwise you could over tighten the bolt.I would definitely recommend this wrench to anyone working with carbon fiber or lightweight aluminum bicycles. I recently purchased another TW-5.2 torque wrench for my son.

This torque wrench provides very vague feedback when used at values below about 10nm. Pretty much no tactile feel or audible click at low values, which was my intended use of this product. The plastic cover used to indicate torque values is not secured to the wrench and falls out constantly. Without it you have no way to determine the precise torque value. Overall I'm very dissatisfied with the functionality and build quality of this product that costs over $100. I would suggest looking elsewhere as this product just does not offer much value.
This wrench has a very slight click-stop mechanism that is very easy to miss and can lead to overtightening, which is what happened to me the first time I used it. Fortunately, no damage was done because I realized that I was overtightening it, but for a less-experienced person, it could have been a ruined fork.You also have to hold the wrench just right and apply pressure very carefully for the click-stop action to work. I purchased this wrench to apply precise torque to critical components on my touring bike. The dial sets the torque value and there is a definite 'click' feeling when that setting is reached. The wrench is high quality and comes in a nice plastic case for additional protection. Great value for the price.
