I got this Parlux about a year ago and it's amazing. It's quiet, lightweight, and keeps my hair healthy. It's much better than the GHD Air I had before it. I also tend to like it better than the Dyson. But I guess it's a personal thing. I love that they are still made in small numbers in Italy, but one downfall is it's not dual voltage. So I cannot take it with me to places like Japan, North America et cetera. It is only for use in 220v-240v countries. So that's literally the only reason it did lose one star. Other than that the performance is amazing, it's not deafening and has many accessories you can add to it. Great warranty here in Australia and very heavy duty. This dryer was recommended by my hairdresser. I was a little taken aback by the price however when it was on special at Myer I couldn’t resist. I absolutely love it, so lightweight, small and easy to handle. I have very fine hair and using this Parlux dryer has completely stopped fly away ends. Love it and worth the $s.

I have long thick hair and weak wrists - my hairdresser recommended this Parlux to me and now I'll never go back to other brands/products! So light weight, quick to dry, and my hair is softer/smoother than with previous hairdryers. So worth the investment.
Fabulous hairdryer. Read the reviews and my own hairdresser uses Parlux in the salon. Decided to bite the bullet and splash out on the most expensive hairdryer I’ve ever bought! It doesn’t disappoint. Light to hold and control buttons in good place. Very pleased.

This is the first time I have purchased an expensive hair dryer. A friend highly recommended this hair dryer and I’m glad I bought it. I have thin mainly straight (slightly wavy) hair. I was struggling with fly aways and frizzy hair. I decided to treat myself to this hair dryer hoping it would help tame my frizzy hair. It has helped so much. My hair is much smoother using this hair dryer . It’s nice and light & easy to use and much quieter then my old hair dryer. I highly recommend it.
This is the best hairdryer I have used. It is light and the buttons are easy to use and the heat settings are perfect. The cord is a great length and I love my hairdryer. Would definitely buy this brand again.
After my old VS travel hair dryer died after many years, I decided to splurge on a new dryer. I did some research and settled on the Parlux advance light given the reviews and general love for this brand and make all over the net. I found a tester in store and you can tell this is a superior product immediately after comparing to other dryers. I don't really style my hair, but I wanted something that would dry it quickly, wasn't too loud and in the off chance I needed to style it, I could. And this dryer is all that and more. After the first time drying my hair, it was super airy and bouncy, nothing like before. And it took 5 mins for mid length, thick hair. Definitely worth it and I'm excited to use it again and again.
