Pass The Pigs - Original Edition
This very portable beer & pretzels game comes as a pocket travel case containing 2 pig dice, two pencils and a scoring booklet that also includes the scoring table. The pigs are actual pig miniatures, with a dot on their right flanks. The object is to be the first to score 100 points using "pigs" as dice. On your turn, you throw the pigs and hope they end up in a scoring position such as a "snouter," "trotter," or "leaning jowler" (ranging in value from 1 to 60 points); if they do, you decide whether to "cash" the points (pass the pigs to the next player) or to roll again. If you roll a non-scorer ("pig out" - one pig on the right flank, the other on the left flank; a fairly frequent result), you lose any as-yet-uncashed points. If you throw an "oinker" (both pigs touching each other), you lose your entire accumulated score. If you throw a "piggyback" (one pig on top of the other), you're altogether eliminated!

This game is hilarious to play with your friends and family. Every time we went on vacation we would have our family bring it with them. Loved it so much I had to buy it. This is definitely a family favorite and has brought many hours of fun and laughing. I definitely recommend this game.

Played this for the first time today and for a simple game it was really fun. The instructions are really easy to follow ad it's a little addictive. I would definitely recommend as a fun and easy family game even though my daughter got a bit annoyed as she didn't win. Kept us entertained for a good hour or so

Fun, nostalgic, small and simple game. Easy to take with you, doesn't require much space or time to set it up. (The pigs are pretty easy to lose, though, so gotta be careful!) Pass the Pigs is kind of like yahtzee, but instead of dice you (surprisingly to no-one) throw these 2 ADORABLE little pigs to make different combos with to score points. Can be played on 1 vs 1 or with a slightly bigger group (preferrably up to 4). Suitable for players of all ages, although younger players might need some help with calculating the points.

Game was purchased as a gift. The older version which we have had for years is the version with a carrying case. Manufacturer should have just made the carrying case smaller to make the game less expensive, not redesigned it with an unattractive cup instead.
So 4 adults playing this and we had to use the visual guide throughout it is addictive and caused laughter and frustration. Good portable game given the little carry case/pencil/scoring pads and think kids would love it. However for what it was compared to other games I wouldve expected to pay around ?5-6
Great game to take on holiday. Easily transported in the container provided. Love the idea as pass the Pugs is a change from pass the pigs and useful for a pug loving family.
This is an easy game for even young children to play. It us a great game for them to practice math addition. I only wish the black spot on the pig didn't wear off !
I first played this game while touring Europe in 1983. Loved it so much then that the memory stuck with me. Nearly 40 years later, while looking for a game to play with relatives, I just HAD to buy.
First bought this game over 20 years ago - at a grocery store - as an emergency "must occupy the children for several hours" while staying in a hotel and participating in day-long sporting event. Children are now grown adults and still play this game with our family. Both children have requested this game for Christmas so they can have one of their own. Buy the original! It is The Best! Get it! Play it! You will love it!
Bought this to play over Christmas with family. was a lot of fun, and both adults and children enjoyed playing. Took me back to playing when I was younger at family get togethers.
