Before I got this hat my head was always cold and so where my ears. The wife didn't find me attractive and my daughter used to make me drop her off a block away from school so she wouldn't have to be seen with me. Since I got the hat all that has changed! My head and ears are toasty warm, my wife finds me irresistible and my daughter's finally cool with me dropping her off in front of the school. Thanks Patagonia!

This beanie initially started a bit snug but conformed to my head after just a couple of wears without losing its snazzy shape.Cozy, snug fit that provides great warmth without sacrificing good looks!

This is a gift for a friend. I bought this exact beanie last fall and wore it in the city almost every day last winter. I also wore it during the almost 3 weeks in September when I was hiking in the Rockies - I wore it every night and most mornings due to the cold. Extremely well constructed as it kept its shape with absolutely no issues during each of those times. I have been wearing it all this late fall and it still looks like new.

I wear a beanie almost everyday in the fall and winter and this has become one of my go-to's. I prefer to roll the beanie an extra time to give it the classic fishermans look above the ears. To get this look the beanie does need to be stretched out a bit. I have a small head and it started snug but after wearing it more it fits great! Would love to see this one in orange again.
There are a lot of beanies out there, but the Fishermans Beanie is my favorite. I have a few of these now. Not too thick, not too thin, warm enough, but not too hot. Stoked to find this and use it milling around the house, checking the waves and in the mountains.
This beanie is ridiculously small, both in height and in width. The description "snug fitting that loosens with wear" I couldn't even get the beanie on my head! I wish I wouldn't have purchased this item, because I wouldn't had to waste $15 in paying for shipping and return item for this garbage product
Great hat. High quality. Warm. Looks good.Runs a bit small, both in length and width. Total "skull hugger". I rate my head as medium / large - so it's a no-go for guys with a real big head. Typical of Patagonia, the product is overbuilt and will probably last longer than me...
Seriously, The best beanie I've ever owned. I've worn it everyday I've needed to for the last 3 years. Living in Denver, that's a lot of days. I wear it hiking, snowboarding, camping, out and about, really anywhere. It's only needed to be washed a handful of times, doesn't pill, doesn't smell, and keeps its shape. I want to buy a few more just to keep incase they ever discontinue this beanie.
Nicely constructed, quality material and very warm. Fits snugly but has plenty of give, although I do have a smaller head. My go to hat for the cold Canadian winters. Nicely coordinates with the nouveau green down jacket.
I was worried this beanie would be too small, but fits exactly as I had hoped (as shown in the model photo). The build feels sturdy, color is exactly as pictured, its quite warm, not itchy, looks put together if you are big in aesthetics. Know that this may not be the hat for you if you want something that comes does super far over your ears as there is not a ton of stretch in the material. I highly recommend it
