Great rain pants100% waterproof. Could hardly tell they were wet and it was raining the entire time we were hiking. They kept my son dry and his pants underneath clean from water and mud. They fit well with a loose fit for layering. They also fit well in length and I hope to get a couple years out of them due to the design. They don't drag on the ground even if a bit long. Easy to pull on and off too. They fit my son true to sizing.

These pants looked good, fit my daughter well, and were initially waterproof. After less than one month of use, near daily wear but no excessive abuse, the fabric along the edge of the seam tape in the inseam started to split open in multiple places. Within weeks of receiving the rain pants, there were four ~1inch long splits in different places on the inseam (not the seam itself, but along the edge of the seam tape), rendering them essentially useless. The material and construction are clearly defective. I buy a lot of Patagonia gear for myself and my kids and am surprised and disappointed by the lack of durability in this product. The matching jacket seems to be holding up better. Customer service dealt with the return kindly and efficiently.

These are perfect rain pants. Love the draw string so we can cinch them up.Also love the reflective stripe for visibility.Once the 5 year old outgrows them little sister will wear them.

Fit slightly large but a versatile waterproof pant for kids. Excellent quality. Only thing I would change is adding full elastic at the leg cuffs.

While the Torrent Shell fabric does a good job of waterproofing, the fit of these pants is sort of "off".I am a small, short woman, so I took a chance and ordered the Kids size 14 XL. The waist is ok, but the length is waaay too long, Really, what kid is that tall? ! The length is troublesome and rather bulky. I will have to figure out a way to shorten the pants without compromising the integrity of the waterproof fabric.I also own a Torrent shell Jacket, which has been great.
These are great?perfect for walking the dog in wet weather. Sizing is true to size.
Overall very happy with these. Bit expensive for rain pants, but the quality is good and they are nice and light while still appearing durable. Paired with the Torrentshell jacket (blue) but obviously good as a stand-alone purchase.
We were looking for versatile snow pants that our son could wear for play on the school yard to ski lessons on the weekend and these snow pants are perfect for both! The material is durable and waterproof and the fit is perfect - not too bulky or thick. Will definitely be purchasing again when he needs to size up!
