Long story short, these pants are worth the purchase. The full length leg zips fit over my telemark ski boots - no problem. I waited a full season to write a review to make sure they would hold up and they do not disappoint. I spent many years wearing my old military goretex and finally decided to upgrade. I just got sick of wearing camo all of the time. I am hard on my gear and do not take gear reviews lightly. These will likely last just as long as my old military issued ones. These are great in the winter for keeping snow out of your boots. I still use a leg gaiter because I am just used to it, but if you have a high boot you probably don't need gaiters with this pant. Great pants. Ski in these roughly 100 days a year, and just bought a new pair after a few seasons. Gore-tex keeps you dry in all conditions. Can easily layer underneath on cold days as they are not insulated. Fit great, and love full zip for getting knee brace on and off.

These are advertised as alpine climbing pants so I figured they would work for my purposes but they are WAY too baggy around the lower legs. The model shown is 6 feet tall and doesn't look too bad wearing mediums but I got mediums (I'm 6 ft.) and cannot make them look like anything less than parachute pants. Not great for hiking at all.

These are fully waterproof shell pants that fit comfortably over my baselayer bottoms and softshell pants. Full-length separating size zippers ; to take off your pants without removing your boots (triple boots or ski boots).. You gotta love these bomber pants.. Rock solid construction that helped me climb some tall mountains and on summit days
I purchased these ski pants to replace my 10+ year old Patagonia Guide Pant. Nothing wrong with Guide Pant, really. Just wanted a fresher look. The Triolets replacements have all the same key features as the Guide Pant (full side zip, zippered front pockets, built-in gaiters, 3-layer Gortex). The Triolets also have belt loops (to replace suspenders on Guide Pant), which I prefer. Very happy with fit, finish of the size L for 61, 190 lb frame. One noticeable drawback: the Triolets are missing the extra thin insulation layer of the Guide Pant, making them a bit colder on the mountain, and on ski lift chair. Nothing a thicker base layer cant solve.
Bought these as I was looking for another four season pant. The construction is outstanding and I loved the feel but had to return them as the fit was not right for me. I started with an XL, I am 6'1 and about 220, and they were huge! The length was way too long and there was a lot of room in the waist. The adjustment was nice but I felt like I was wearing clown pants (a lot of material). I then switched to a L and the length was better and waste was good with still a bit of room. The issues was in the tops of the thighs and hips. They were now too tight in that area and adding a mid-weight baselayer was okay but anything beyond that would have been uncomfortable. Really nice pants...if they fit! I am 6'-2" tall and weigh 188 pounds. I really wanted to wear these pants, as I am a huge fan of Patagonia as a company. However, the size medium is too tight and the size large is far too baggy. The length seems to be about the same for both sizes and was perfect for my 33" inseam. So...despite my love for Patagonia and the obvious quality of the pants, I can't use them. If they happen to fit your frame, you won't be disappointed. The are of the highest quality and are feature-full. I ended-up buying a pair of Arcteryx Alpha AR pants, which are a better fit and also very well made. They, unfortunately, are missing the internal gators, the Triolet pants had.
Ive owned these pants for about 5 years and they have served their purpose. I love the full leg zip, im surprised more companies don’t incorporate this. The belt is garbage amd their are no suspenders loops, why? I wear these spring fall summer and they work well but i recently went on a trip to Colorado where we got a ton of wet snow and they leaked through. I sent them back for the warranty and was denied. I haven’t worn there hard the years I've owned the. Just casual wear. Disappointing in Patagonia for not standing behind their product especially at the price they charge.
GOOD WATERPROOF AND WINDPROOF FABRIC. ELASTIC INTERIOR BOOT CUFFS, TWO ZIPPERED SIDE POCKETS. FULL SIDE ZIPS, WHICH ARE HARD TO FIND THESE DAYS. WAIST ADJUSTMENT DOES NOT WORK WELL, BUT I DID NOT NEED IT. A VERY GOOD CHOICE FOR SKI PANTS IN TODAYS MARKET.
