I was hoping this would fit the same as the other Patagonia trucker hat, but this one doesn't really fit me. I think the "LoPro" version here is the problem. I have a larger head diameter and plenty of hair, so maybe this is fine if most hats fit you. If you're like me and most standard hats fit tight, I'd avoid this one. It is adjustable, but when I adjust it to my size, it puckers in the back and still rides up during a walk or run. Love Patagonia stuff, but this one wasn't for me.

Im a ball cap and trucker hat enthusiast and Im SUPER picky about how they fit. Ive desperately wanted to rep this p6 mid crown trucker but, the back half mesh part of this hat is almost too much. I dont have a small head by any means (average or slightly above average) but when I put it on, the button at the top was off my head and facing forwards almost. It looked very goofy and I had excess mesh in the back. It didn't sit well/flush with my head. Otherwise this hat is incredible quality and I love that its produced from recycled products.

It didnt sit well/flush with my head.I compare it to a couple other Pacifica branded trucker hats Ive bought from amazon that fit absolutely like a glove. The mesh and button sit flat and snug against your head like theyre supposed to. Otherwise this hat is incredible quality and I love that its produced from recycled products.

I bought this for my husband, he loves it. Note, its the low profile version which worked out well, he didn't want the original trucker style. This fits more like a regular baseball hat but with the mesh trucker look. Fits me too (female head) as unisex hats are usually too big for me height-wise. I wear a 7 1/8 size Tilley hat for reference.
This is my first Patagonia hat. The fit is very good and Iike the fact that this isn't a really tall hat.I really like the Lopro.Very comfortable as wellI will definitely be getting more colors soon to wear at work. Thanks again Patagonia for a great product.
I love the colors and design of the hat, but its just too big. Wish there was a size option. Im a female and my head is not as big or tall as a male. The hat overall fits too tall on my head and runs into my ears to fit properly. As a woman, I just wish you guys offered a smaller version of these hats. They are so nice looking and I really want to support what the company stands for. But I wont be buying any more hats if they are not offered in a better size.
Like the hat, but sizing can be inconsistent. For instance, I had to exchange because it felt kinda large. The replacement was the perfect fit. However, with my replacement, the side netting protrudes a little and scrapes my ears. It can get uncomfortable sometimes throughout the day.
I have 12 other Patagonia caps to compare with this one. I have noticed a slight increase in the height of the LoPro cap design in the last decade; the front seems to have a bit more volume now. The high quality, sturdy materials are immortal. I have hiked, biked, swam, and surfed wearing these hats in heat, cold, and rain. What really works for me is that you offer so many colors that I can find one that looks good with my other Patagonia gear (which is mostly Ash Tan, Dark Ash, Burnie Brown or Industrial Green in color). They are good looking hats!
I'm bald and live in the desert so I wear hats constantly. I go through a lot of baseball cap style hats and this one is, by far, my favorite mesh-back hat ever. It is super high quality. It still looks new after wearing it all summer. Sweat stains are minimal. The best part is the fit. These loPro hats fit better than any others.
It hurts my heart to leave a bad review because I adore Patagonia and everything it stands for, as well as the impeccable quality of everything I purchase from there. I wanted a well-fitting baseball cap for casual wear for walking the dogs, hiking, etc. blue is my absolute favorite color and there the hat delivers. Also dear to my heart is the story of the source of the materials. The only problem is it is completely huge on my head. Like a bucket. So I am just admiring it in my closet and waiting for an opportunity to gift it to someone with a very large head.
