Got this shirt and liked the material and design but it has quality and size proportion issues. First noticed it runs a bit large especially around the neck so much that it is loose looking and feeling. I have other tshirts from Patagonia same size and dont have this odd collar issue. The collar also started curling up inside in the front on the bottom so now it has a crease unless you iron it out. T-shirts should be low maintenance imo and not need ironing for each wear. The shirt should have had a bottom stitch alone the collar in front to stop this from creasing. Expected better.

I've always been partial to the flying fish tees since they first arrived; from the start a quirky and fun logo that made me laugh. I wear the shirts backpacking, doing fieldwork in Nepal (more backpacking), hanging out. My Nepali field assistants always liked the design, too, so I began bringing them as gifts; they call them shikaari maachhaa (hunter fish) shirts. So when this edition of the series showed up, I was pleased to stock up again. The hunter fish is on the back now, which is a nice change, good to mix 'em up; I like the low key "Patagonia" print logo on the left chest, too. And the fish appearance in the responsibili-Tee line is really welcome. Sizing is a bit different than what I'm used to: I'm 6'2, 200 lbs, 33" waist, and athletic build; usually get ... If I wanted to show off my body contours more, I bet I could get away with an M, but this is already perfect. Note to all: it barely shrinks! Very pleased with the tee itself; material has a nice heft (toward the jersey side of feel on the skin), drapes really well, and the regular cut gives me room to move. Very much a sturdy cotton feel to it. The 100% recycled materials are a good karma bonus. Already own two of these. Now I've got to pick up some shirts for friends in Nepal. Highly recommended.

I have bought Patagonia clothes for decades and loved their shirts but have found they are using cheaper fabric and downsizing. What used to be a Large fits a very slim Medium. It has been a struggle to buy shirts but gave this one a shot. The fabric is normal to heavyweight and actually fits a regular person. Sorry Patagonia, I have to buy one to two sizes larger to avoid your clothing from looking like it was painted on me. The same goes for jackets sadly. Unfortunately, Patagonia does not quite understand we are not all super slim individuals.

I love this shirt , I have used it to wear casually and for walks, running and hiking. It is very comfortable and fits exactly like you would want a men’s XL to fit. The organic material is great quality and does not have any major flaws 10/10 would buy again. Don't hesitate to pick yourself one up.
Unlike the other reviews below, I find this shirt to be awesome. I think it's just an issue of different strokes for different folks'...body types. A lot of Paty gear is for the tall sticks. The beauty of the slim is that it accommodates those of us with broader shoulders, without the poof around the waistline. Ie., a lot of Paty models are 6' but wear a small or medium. That's not going to work for people who are shorter and have more musculature or larger frame. I'm 5'8 190lb, size 42 chest, muscular, but not a tube. I have a waist. The slim in Men's Med allows me to have a flattering shirt that doesn't bind when I move my arms or shoulders. The Med in the Responsibili-Tee is slightly too snug in the shoulders, and a bit slack in the waist. To get to where it's ... MoreUnlike the other reviews below, I find this shirt to be awesome. To get to where it's comfy in the shoulders, it would make the waist poofy like a sail. So, this organic cotton Men's Med t-shirt:- Awesome hand feel, better even than American Apparel in my opinion- Perfect for those with broader shoulders, and trim waists- Super eco-consciousI love it!
I own four Responsibili-tees (a P-6 Logo, a Forge Mark, two Flying Fish); bought the first two at a local independent where I was able to test for sizing and last two confidently ordered from Patagonia since features are the same across logos. I love this shirt, big time! I'm 6'2, 200 lbs, and generally wear Patagonia shirts at XL (cool trail, capilene base layers, back step), but for these I moved to the L size for the same perfect fit. The fabric is a hefty recycled blend that reminds me of the beefy cotton jerseys I favored as a kid. A really nice drape from perfectly fitting shoulders (sleeve seam is right at the shoulder break) to the loose, but not tent-like, fit around my 33 inch wait. The bottom comes to maybe 4-5inches below my natural waist, just the way I ... The bottom comes to maybe 4-5inches below my natural waist, just the way I like it so that when I'm reaching up I don't flash my navel. Washing and drying barely shrinks this shirt, if at all so getting a good fit at purchase is vital. I have no complaints about itching (as I've heard that some folks do) -- out of the four shirts, 3 have no itch issues at all and 1 has just a minor scratching that doesn't bother me a bit & I figure will decline with wear (kind of reminds me of army surplus wool t-shirts I wore as a kid). Huge consistency of fit and quality across the four shirts I own. This is a triumph of design and comfort as far as I'm concerned, a perfect t-shirt on every front. And as for the flying fish (on the back of the shirt, btw), I gotta say it has been my favorite t-shirt logo since it first appeared (when was that, 2010 or so?). Unique and quirky, it made me laugh from the start. I happened to wear a flying fish T when I went to Nepal to do some relief work after the 2015 earthquake; guys from the Tibet border area where I work as an anthropologist loved it, called it the "hunter fish" (in Nepali), and I began bringing them as gifts whenever I made my research trips. This new iteration means I'll be buying some new ones for friends! High marks all around!
Love my Patagonia P-6 Mission t-shirt. The design is simple and elegant and just won’t go out of fashion. The quality is typical Patagonia quality. Think heavy, quality cotton material that is well stitched together. This t-shirt should last years from a durability standpoint. That this t-shirt is sustainably produced and good for our planet is additionally appealing.
This shirt is really weird and not in a good way. It's massive for one. I normally wear a L/XL shirt depending on the brand so I went with an XL and this thing was massive. I could have easily purchased a medium and had been ok. Second of all, it super boxy. I've never had such an ill fitting shirt through the midsection. I had so much material on the sides of my lower torso it was ridiculous. If you like a form fitting shirt that's not baggy, just skip this. I don't know what they based the template of this shirt on but it's terrible . I love Patagonia clothing and it's mostly what I wear but I'm sending this back. They need to seriously work on this shirt.
I had a couple of Patagonia Organic Cotton T's Circa ~ <2015. The fit was literally perfect. I was a size medium in the regular fit old version of this shirt. I tried on a medium in the new shirt (this item) and it was small, but to be expected since the fit is now "slim fit". So I sized up to a Large. The large is pretty big in the chest, and incredibly short in the sleeves (both in length and in circumference) Not to mention the shirt is way too long, it looks like a dress under my climbing harness. Also The fabric for the old version was also perfect! The cotton was more substantial, never shrank a millimeter, and never curled or bunched. Not only is the new version significantly thinner feeling, but one wash cycle with this new version, and the collar is ... MoreI had a couple of Patagonia Organic Cotton T's Circa ~ <2015. I get the environmental consciousness when designing products, I mean, that's why I've been a long time fan of Patagonia, but you can sacrifice quality which is what it seems like is happening here. The T-shirts now seem to be made for people who just wanna sport the brand name, not actually use it for getting at some type of "sport". Bring back the old version!
First let me say I am a fan of the fly fish t-shirts. I have almost 10 of them. I was looking forward to adding the "white" version to my collection. I just received it in the mail and sadly the white is more of a greyish white like the package it was delivered. Disappointed. CS was helpful with sending it back. I would suggest to Patagonia to add an adjective to describe the off-white so you're not expecting a typical white t-shirt.
