I got these to keep in my car for winter and they are perfection! So cozy, and they work well for clearing off snow without feeling wet. I would also definitely wear these to concerts or on walks. Great casual glove

I was so excited about these gloves because they are cute, functional, and were well-made in usual Patagonia fashion. However, if you have small hands, these gloves aren't for you. I ordered both the small and extra small and the fingers were so long on me. I had my husband try them on and the XS fit him perfectly and he has average to small hands for a man. That's the only reason I gave only 5 stars. I wish these gloves came in a size that fit me. I definitely recommend for women with average to larger hands and to men with small to extra large hands.

I own many pairs of patagonia gloves, all XS or kids sizes, which fit great. But the XS in these gloves is not a good fit and inconsistent with past glove fit. They are too long in the thumbs and too short in the fingers. When wearing them I experience an inch of empty space at the tips of the thumbs, while the other fingers are too tight and too short. I tried these out on a day when the temperature was in the teens, relatively sunny, with no wind at all, and they did not keep my hands warm. The walls (sides) of the fingers are made of a thinner material than the rest of the glove, and you can feel cold air go right through that material.

Unfortunately, my favorite pair of green gloves were lost in winter traveling! I was worried when I went to Patagonia store because all the winter wear was gone. Thankfully, the young assistant showed me the gloves on sale on iPad and fortunately, there were only one green pair in my size. I tried them on right away when arrived in mail and they fit like a "GLOVE"!And I wear every morning when still cold and even in evening for sleeping due to a condition in my left hand from a bicycle accident.
Very high quality construction as I would expect from Patagonia. These gloves just aren't very warm. Palm side is thin with little insulation. Backside is better, a bit warmer but not very warm. Overall I am disappointed in these gloves. I'm not sure what Patagonia was thinking? They might be ok for something like winter running or other activities where your body is really hot. But for snowshoeing, skiing and even ice climbing they are way to thin to provide enough warmth. Fit is snug and a tiny bit on the small side
Finally had a chance to test out my new gloves. I ordered a small and they fit perfectly. Besides fitting nicely, they are cute. I wore them in a very cold hockey arena and my fingers stayed warm for the most part. I would recommend them to wear for dress or casual activities, but not for heavy work like shoveling snow. They have the touch tip fingers, which is a must right now.
Purchased these gloves for general mild weather dog-walking and such, but they are of no practical use whatsoever. Thinnest fabric imaginable. All around embarrassing product from Patagonia—my usual “go-to” brand for excellent performance.
They are cute, comfortable, and warm, and I got the right size thankfully because I saw they are unisex and sized down. Sadly, the touch screen tips do not work at all - I tried mutliple phones and it doesn't register a single thing. I know I can return them but it's just a bummer that these gloves have been out for more than a year and they have chosen not to fix it. When I choose to buy from Patagonia, I think I'm choosing the highest quality and it's shocking to me to be returning an item because one of the features just doesn't work. If you don't care about them working for your phone, then go for it!
I purchased the Patagonia Retro Pile Gloves for my mother for Christmas. She really enjoys the warmth that they provide and the feeling of the pile material. She describes them as "warm and cozy". Feels like I got her the right gift.
In store clerk helped me find these gloves on sale in his iPad. They did take 5 days, but worth waiting for!They fit tightly as an extra small and I have small hands. I wear for early AM walks with my dog and even to sleep on cold, cold nights. They replace another bright OR and for which I didn't think I could like any better, Because these fit tight and fit in pockets, I don't think I will ever loose!!!
