LOVE this fleece pullover! I am a Women's small but I usually love the fit and colour of the mens fleeces. I bought the cream coloured one in small and absolutely love it! Fits great. The model photos make it seem like it'll be a bit boxy, but its not at all. Super soft and fits to your body. Being female in a mens fit it was the perfect amount of bagginess. Great at temp regulating. So happy with it!

Absolutely love the Retro Pile line. Im a female who has several of the non-hooded versions. The horizontal chest pocket is by far my favorite feature; Ive been waiting for a hooded version for women but since there isnt one on the horizon, I purchased the mens extra small and have pretty much been wearing it ever since. Its practical, comfy, looks good. Its slightly large on me but I dont mind. Got my husband an XL. Hes 63, 220lbs. Fits perfectly.

I typically wear an XXL but after reading the reviews I went ahead and grabbed an XL. Im glad I did as its perfect and if I would've gotten an XXL I think Id be swimming in it. Im 6Ft and on a good day Im 6ft 1in, weigh 230 pounds with broad shoulders and a dad bod, aka I got a belly, and it hides my belly well. I highly recommend this fleece, just be sure to size down.

I bought two and in a matter of weeks the pilling was so bad my partner couldn’t help herself and asked me to stop wearing either of my Patagonia sweaters. “But I love them!” I replied. And she said “too bad, they look terrible! You should get your money back.” Well, instead of that I tried giving Patagonia a chance to redeem itself. I called the company and they told me to send them back and that I would get credit for them. What I got was a credit that wasn’t enough to replace the two sweaters I had returned. After trying to resolve the matter and getting stonewalled, I buckled and replaced the sweaters, making up the difference out of pocket. A mostly solid fleece hoody purchased through REI. Warm enough as the only outerwear for brisk ~50 degree F autumn days. Unfortunately, within weeks, I found the stitching on the cuffs to already start to fray and am afraid they'll soon detach from the fleece completely. Unsure if this is common for this item but I found that disappointing, thus the three stars. Without this issue, an easy 5 star rating.
This has to be the best fitting, coziest hoodie Ive ever owned. Its lightweight, super warm and simple. The pile is ultra soft inside and out and a nice feature in the pocket.Im a broad fella thats kind of in between sizes. I usually struggle with hoodies either being too short in a L or too baggy in an XL. My shoulders and arms like an XL but my torso does not. This hoodie fits my frame quite nicely. My shoulders dont feel the least bit constricted and its not baggy anywhere. Im also 6 1 with longer arms and the sleeves fit well right on my wrists. Most L size fleeces or hoodies I buy are short in the sleeves, not this one.Love it.

Ive always loved Patagonia - high quality, timeless styles, you get it. Saw this retro hoodie with the neon accents - it spoke to the 90s kid in me. Its super warm and washes really well (I hang dry). It does run a bit large. Im 6 ft 2, 220 lbs and I originally purchased the XL. It was too big. The exchange process was seamless and the size Large fits perfectly with enough room for base layers, a button-up, etc. Ill probably be getting another one I love it so much.
LW synchilla Fleece, in prints, sometimes I fit small or medium. Upper sleeve have some much extra material I have had to then altered, by a lot. Without altering they would fit to big inside my outer shell or jacket. Same with solids, so I think your fit is not correct. If I wear a medium they end up to long in the body snd sleeves, so I try a few items on until I think they are a good fit. Synchilla fleece vest fit well, just a bit long but thats my problem. Retro fleece seem to fit very consistent for me, a medium, 53 and a 150 lbs. I like your Euro fit better then American, however there is excess material in the upper arms.
Absolutely love the retro pile. Have the womens 1/2 zip and its by far my fave sweater. I wish they made this exact version for women. Love hooded sweaters with the sideways chest pocket. Kangaroo pockets added would be fabulous! Unfortunately womens version only comes as a full zip which I do not like.Purchased this one for my husband. Fits true to size and looks fresh. Definitely the go to sweater!
