Pataks Butter Chicken Sauce 450g

Creamy and smooth really authentic curry. Love the texture and the soft taste so could wholeheartedly recommend for people who doesn't like spicy food. It's a great option for days when I am in a rush as the whole meal is done under 30minutes.

Bit too Tomatoey

I'm afraid this is one of my least favourite sauces from Pataks, it lacks any real spice or depth and predominantly tastes of tomato sauce. I prefer to taste a blend of spices in my curries, and this for me, was just too mild for my taste buds.

Delicious sauce

I had a beautifully made meal with this curry sauce, cooked with onions, mixed peppers and fried chicken portion, which I had with rice, absolutely delicious, wish I'd known the sauce before. Love it

Deliciously creamy and mild

A really lovely chicken curry we had with this. It was really creamy and mild which was perfect for my children. We had naan breads with it and rice. Just perfect.

Good for the whole family

This is one of our families, favourite curry, cooking sauces. It is quite mild, which appease is my daughter, and my son and husband will spice it up with some fresh chilies on top of it. Quick and easy, it can be on the table within 20 minutes. I always have a jar in the cupboard for emergencies and suggest you do as well.

Great flavour and texture

I loved this! I wasn’t expecting to enjoy it as much as I did. It was a smooth sauce, however had some crunchy bits on onion and tomato which made it really tasty. It was a very flavoursome sauce.

Mild but flavoursome

My daughter isn't great with hot spices and this is perfect for her. We find it mild but it still has good flavour (probably not for those who prefer something with more fire). Sauce is of good consistency and lovely and smooth.

Great sauce to try with little ones or people who prefer a mild dish. The flavours still sing through though; it’s definitely not bland, but rich, smooth and creamy.

My favourite curry flavour

I don't like hot spicy overpowering curry so for me this is perfect & my favourite curry by far. Simply browned some chicken pieces, put in the slow cooker with the sauce for a couple of hours, adding some sliced peppers about 30 minutes before serving so they were cooked but not too soft.

Nice flavour but a little mild.

I find that curry sauces that are milder tend to lack flavour but this was certainly not the case with this Butter Chicken sauce. It is rich and creamy with a consistency that is just right. The jars are really convenient to use for a quick and easy meal. For my personal taste, I had to add some extra hot chilli. However, a great tasting sauce all the same
