This only came yesterday and already half the jar has gone - we are having it with cheese, BBQ food - not a curry in sight! Highly recommend. Not too hot either, prob more medium than hot.

This is a huge flavour booster and fantastic thing to have in the fridge, if you cook or eat curry. It is tangy and sour, in a powerful way - which I love, but probably isn't for all palates. I keep it in the fridge as it lasts months this way.Either I use to boost up an indian ready meal by adding a tablespoon on the edge of the dish. Or I add into my own homemade curries, by chopping up slightly first (as the lime is quite chunky) and then putting into the dish as I cook it. It has a lot of flavour, so you need to be careful in how you use it.It even works with cheese. Try a soft cheese like brie, and dab some of this on the side. It transforms the flavour!

We normally buy the bigger jar of this pickle but after a couple of weeks opened in the fridge the pickle is not the same and sometimes disappointing. These smaller jars are just perfect, just enough to finish in a week or two. Thank you Ocado for stocking these smaller jars. More of a variety would be very welcome!!

Very disappointed. Patak's mango pickle used to be packed with flavoursome chunks of mango. Now there are few or no chunks - just high calorie, oily paste. Threw in the bin and won't be buying again. Patak's, when will you realise that when consumers buy mango pickle, they want pickle, not paste!
I was very disappointed because it was more like a sauce than pickle. I know it to contain some oil and this product didnt contain any oil and very little and very small pieces of mango. Just not like the ones I used to buy from supermarkets.
Great heat to it.Thick pieces of lime etc and very more-ish.Add to Asda's chicken tikka sandwich filler and your taste buds will cry out in joy.It's just a shame it costs so much. That and the jar size is tiny. You could get one stuck in your eye and still see out.
Used this to jack-up a chicken korma I got on a meal deal. WOW! A little really goes a long way... and well worth it! I was intending to make my own, but with this dynamite jar from the experts, there's no need. A dollop of their mango chutney only adds to the mix. Happy spice day!
I’ve struggled to find this for a long time until recently, so it was nice to discover it again. Crunchy, and for me, preferable to the Lime Pickle variety. Will always try to keep a couple of jars in reserve. Particularly good when it’s on special offer!
i love indian food and have had many indian pickle's even some from an indian lady in her later years and this lime pickle is as good as her's,i love it....well done pataks.....
Like other reviewers this used to be a regular purchase for me - in fact I used to have to make a special trip to a specialist shop as normal supermarkets didnt stock it. I was so pleased when Ocado started sticking it but now no longer buy it because this new recipe is so unpalatable. Theres no longer any separate texture or flavour to this pickle I wish Pataks would read these reviews and do something about it!
