Was not white . More a cream . Not what i needed. First time this has happened
Needed 2 scans spotlight source. Had to pay delivery. Wool is a 8 out of 10. A couple of thicker bits and can split easily. Overall nice yarn, knits up well.
Oh my word u think besides being a absolutely beautiful colour the wool itself us such a pleasure to use. I am very happy so far with the result & have purchased another colour for a pinafore style jumper for my Great Great Granddaughter. I love knitting with Patons wool. I bought this wool to knit my youngest granddaughter a school cardigan and it's knitting up beautifully.
Patons sock yarn is amazingwonderful to knit with and a dream to wash and wear. Unfortunately Patons have discontinued this line and its no longer available.

Beautiful quality baby wool but not a true white - more of a winter white or off-white.
