This cream gel styling formula glides onto hair easily and doesn't cause any greasy feel or weigh down hair. Gives extra body and volume to your hair. Has a nice pleasant scent and gives hair a gorgeous natural shine. Helps hair to style more quickly and drying time is cut down. Your hair will look and feel soft and smooth with less frizz. Holds your style through the day and keeps curls intact. Love this product. Highly recommend.

This stuff is just an absolutely amazing miracle worker. I've dealt with massive hyperpigmentation along the jawline for several years. It's only gotten worse over time. the summer months are the worst due to sun exposure and typical tanning (not intended tanning). I couldn't be in pictures because the line was so definitive. I've been using this kit for two weeks and I already feel more confident. You can't see the line in photos anymore. Yes it's still there, but it's in the process of getting lighter everyday. the only problem I have with the kit has nothing to do with the results, the size of the bottles don't make sense. one of them you use twice a day while the other two you only use once. why then is the one you use twice the same size as the others? Been using for decades, love, buuut request to PM
4 September 2022

Hello. I am in my 50s and a lil "vain" anout my hair. Paul Mitchell has been my go to for decades. They have never let me down. I used the sculpting spray (when was blow drying natural lame waves straighter), their shampoo one is Glorious, and Detangler, love love love. Buuut, I contacted a severe case of contact dermatitis on my scalp when trying a bonding regime last year from another brand. And, my hair I had been growing out for 15 years turned stick straight, fine and limp. Oh it gets worse. Then 70% of my huge glorious wavy hair fell out. At least it took a while so luckily I had growth in between. If thats not bad enough, since then I now have mast cell syndrome I can not use this mousse any longer. Too bad because it would solve all my hair problems. So PM, ... MoreHello. I am in my 50s and a lil "vain" anout my hair. Paul Mitchell has been my go to for decades. They have never let me down. Too bad because it would solve all my hair problems. So PM, can you Please make a fragrance free line? Hypoallergenic and minus any of the usual offending essential oils such as coconut, anything lemon, orange, mint etc? Now in to the review, since almost all my hair fell out, whats left is lame 2a waves. It is high porosity, easily weighed down. This for me is a one and done w exception of leave in conditioner depending on season, humidity level and if I blow out or air dry. I try to wait 3 days in between washes. I (used to) stay away from scalp bc this will weigh down my easily influenced hair. This would give moisturization, not go dull, frizzy or dry during those days, refresh easily. It adds awesome texture and amazing shine. The smell is wonderful for those that can use the sweet coconut fragrance I will be happy to be your guinea pig should you decide its worth it to include us people with fragrance and common allergen triggers in your amazing lineup.

Best cream/gel out there!
18 October 2022

I’ve used this for years, and while you were out of stock for so long, I tried sooo many other products, wasted my money, hated them all! My hair has not been the same! Now that this is back, I am so, so thrilled! It’s heavy enough to do the job….keeps my curls in check….but light enough that is leaves no residue whatsoever! This is a magic formula that no one can seem to duplicate! Please don’t ever discontinue!!

Goodbye grease and itch
19 September 2021

For the past year or so, my hair has returned to a state of greasy last seen when I was a teenager decades ago. Add in that I have hyper sensitive skin and scalp and it has been a frustrating battle. I would no sooner wash my hair and the minute it was dry I could feel the grease. Trying sensitive shampoos meant to degrease only led to a dry itchy scalp and persistent grease. I recalled using Paul Mitchel products in my twenties. I was both excited and apprehensive because my skin is much more sensitive these days. The shampoos, as far as I could tell, did not specify sensitivity. I choose what I felt would balance my hair since that is what the description stated. The conditioner being Super Skinny. While I may not have work life balance, I have finally found products that balance my hair and keep the itch away.

Great for bleach-damaged, medium to coarse hair!
19 May 2021

This is my favorite conditioner! After applying this conditioner, I leave it on for 60 seconds before rinsing it out. When I apply it, I start at the ends, work my way up, and stop when I to about 1 inch away from my roots. I love that it has the Super Skinny serum infused in it, and some of it gets left behind when you rinse it out. This is absolutely NOT a complaint. The film is just the iconic Super Skinny serum attached to each strand, just like when you get a chemical blowout, plus it's a great heat protectant. It also helps your hair to dry faster but without drying out your hair (if that makes sense). I don't even need to use leave-in cream after I shower anymore because of this! I cannot explain how soft and moisturized my hair feels when it dries now. If you have severe bleach damage, I highly recommend this stuff. But again, do not apply this conditioner to your roots unless you have coarse hair. The film that is left behind is water soluble (I checked the ingredients), so it will come out with your next wash and will absolutely NOT cause build up of any kind. I've been using this conditioner for months now and my hair is still growing long and strong.

I absolutely love this foam.
30 September 2022

I absolutely love this foam. The conditioners make my hair smell wonderful. I have curly hair and this just takes the curls and styles them just where I want them to fall. I highly recommend this product. the only problem is it isn't always available. There is another foam that volumizes but my hair is so thick I can't use that one. I hope it stays on the market.

Not for me. Returning product back
4 July 2022

I had high expectations for this Paul Mitchell mousse based on the good reviews it was given. This product isn't great but it also wasn't the worst! It just didn't deliver. This mousse seemed to weigh my hair down a tad bit. Leaving my hair a bit dry and not as voluminous as it usually gets when I style with Pantene or Nexxus mousse. Also, My curls were not as defined either as they usually are. I will be returning it back and I will just stick to my to old hair products. (For reference My hair type is thick wavy/curly. My hair is also bleached, I have Ash blonde colored hair.)

Why did the formulation change??
18 November 2022

I have used this product for YEARS, and I have always been happy with it. My last bottle, however, was very different. The spray is much wetter, and it pretty much flattens out the style that I had after blow-drying. I checked the ingredients on the back of the new bottle and compared them to my old one--yes, they are different. Please go back to the original formula!!!! This is supposed to add body and volume, not subtract from it.
