Honestly, everything they said in the product description / marketing for this is true. As I sat down to write this I realized that I’ve been complimented by a certain someone on how full my lips have been looking for the past year which is how long I’ve had this product. The texture is amazing. It really isn’t greasy at all, it’s just a lovely hydrating thin texture serum ish consistency that goes so comfortably on your lips, and it actually stays like that. And this treatment doesn’t just like wear off or disappear immediately. Your lips feel actually moisturized for quite a few hours throughout the day before needing a reapplication at night. And to top it all off, not only are the ingredients and experience fantastic, the applicator/packaging is absolute perfection. I just genuinely couldn’t find a single downside to this product. A little goes a long way, don’t overuse it, and this will honestly last you a good long while.

I was hesitant based on some of the more negative reviews. I baby my lips and rarely use anything other than a lightly moisturizing lip balm during the day and a richly emollient lip product before bed. I didn't want anything upsetting my routine or the current condition of my lips. At the same time, I've just entered my 50's and while my lips are smooth and rarely dry, I have noticed the differences with age - thinning being the most pressing.For the last month, I've used this product religiously at night before bed and occasionally during the day. Due to comments that it has led to some chapping, I've treated it like a serum and applied a second, more emollient product over this one at night. A great lip treatment

I’m new to Paula’s Choice, and I really enjoy this lip peptide treatment. It’s a small tube, like the size of a lip balm/gloss, with a metal applicator. I have to say first off that the metal applicator feels so nice when applying the product. The lip treatment itself feels kind of like a gloss, but not sticky, just very hydrating and softening to the lips. I usually use lip masks at night, but I’m liking this better as it doesn’t love product all over my mouth like the Laneige lip mask. This absorbs quickly and it’s become a staple in my nighttime ritual! (Complimentary from Paula’s Choice.)

My favorite PC product

The first couple of times I used this, I was less than impressed, mostly because of a weird sour smell, so I quit using it for a while. However, in my efforts to stick with a skin care routine, I tried it again. I stopped noticing the smell, and I've been using it at least once daily with my morning skin care/makeup routine. I soon noticed that my lips looked better than they ever had; I was never a smoker, but I still was developing those little lines above my top lip. Now they seemed less noticeable and my lips looked smoother. I also realized that I wasn't constantly picking the flaky, dry skin off because my lips were so smooth. Only One Wish!

I have tried everything, and so far this has worked better than anything else. I have tried the pricey PCA, and many other assorted solutions. What happened was, when covid came and I started wearing masks...and this was in the very hot summertime, my lower lip "shriveled" and became noticeably thinner. Nothing has worked, even so called lip plumpers. This does work immediately, but so far not permanently. I am hoping in time it will be a permanent fix as this problem bothers me no end. If I could wish for one change, it would be the applicator. I really dislike the metal, and would prefer plastic. Otherwise it is A-1!

Really surprised and impressed

I have kept this bedside for many months and use, as I remember, at night before bed. This morning however I reached for it and put on the thinnest layer before applying a drying lipstick and shocked myself when I looked in the mirror later in the day and saw plump, visibly fuller, lips! I was not even looking in the mirror for that reason.. I just happened to walk past one! Definitely was not expecting to see that for sure as I just put it on to moisturize. Upon closer inspection my normally midday parched lips were soft and plump. My lipstick did not slide off either, which often happens to me when applying a balm before a lipstick. Give it a try! I think you will be pleasantly surprised as I was!

So, I was a bit hesitant but who doesn’t love a good lip treatment especially at night. I wear it night and day so much for that night only thought. First the applicator for this was thoughtfully designed with a slanted metal, smooth surface that glides the product on to the lips with ease. It actually has a cooling effect as it applies to the lips. The Hyaluronic Acid helps to target those fine lines with the perfect hydration. The products is light but ultra moisturizing and lasts for hours before having to really. I mean it gives you an amazing shine. Super lip treatment

I had chapped, sore & dehydrated lips for months; literally more than six. I have bought so (so) many balms, sticks, gels etc.. for the lips over the years & none of them, including my trusted La Roche Posay cicaplast, was helping. I waited for this to come back into stock as it contained humectants & occlusives, thought what harm could it do when my mouth was bleeding & so sore after such a long period of chapping & biting? Now, two weeks later, my lips are healed. I still have the urge to nibble (six months of peeling will instil that in a person) but they are soft & plump again & so I can wear lipstick at last! I only apply it three times a day, a big difference from other lip products. Incredibly impressed.

The worst lip product I've owned!

I'm a sucker (pun intended) for any lip product, but, in particular, any balm or hydrating lip option. After reading all the glowing reviews, I was so stoked to try this "lip booster," but it's been a nightmare product. I'm not sure what ingredient(s) or combination of that I can't tolerate in the formula (I wish I knew so I can avoid it), but I'm having the exact opposite effects that the lip booster claims to create. I've not substituted anything new in my routine other than this, and, simply, because I was stupidly determined that Paula's Choice couldn't steer me wrong, I've attempted several days at a time, no less than 5 series of days (possibly more). I thought, like some skin care, I must be having an initial reaction that goes away, but repeatedly applying made my lips so much worse and raw. The effect is so bad, I feel like some sad chump because the price of this lip treatment is no joke!! It's expensive. And the smell...it's an awful smelling concoction and no joy to have sitting right below your nose.
