Definitely wouldn't be without this product now. It really has help cleared up my skin massively. My pores are smaller, the redness of my skin has gone down, and I now have a healthy looking glow to my skin that I've never had before. I have battled acne my whole life and really tamed it all over my face except for my jaw area. Every month I would have these persistent hormonal acne on mostly the right side of my chin and jawline - while the rest of my skin looked amazing! I am so glad to say that this product has gotten rid of that completely. I actually don't use this on my whole face. I don't use a cotton pad - I take a little bit on my finger and just put it on my jawline and chin area, where I need it the most. I do this morning and evening, and I have gone through a whole menstrual cycle without hormonal acne! Amazing. I use a muslin cloth for cleansing before I put this on, which really gets rid of all the tiny oil trapped around there. I was so excited to try this product, I have been using the Olay Anti Blemish Moisturiser recommended by Paula in one of her reports for a couple of years now and have had great results. The BHA/Benzoyl Peroxide combination worked amazingly for eliminating my clogged pores, and I probably had an actual spot around once every two months. There were still a few stubborn clogged pores remaining, so I thought that switching to the 2% BHA would help eliminate these (the Olay product is 1.5% BHA). The first couple of days my skin looked very nice, very smooth, reduced black heads etc, but then after about 3/4 days my skin started breaking out in red swollen under the skin spots, a type I never ever get. I have been using it twice a day since (am and pm, always sunscreen after AM application as instructions recommend) and just in these 5 days my skin looks RADIANT and GLOWY, I always struggle with bumps which have gone down A LOT. My nose has literally gotten so much better, there's hardly any blackheads left and it looks so good. I'm so so happy, I really didn't expect results so quickly and I recommend to anyone who has similar skin to me as I can't speak for others. This is the first review I leave on any product that I've ever bought, but this has made me so happy that I want others to know about it as well :)
Love love love this product so much! It is a product I will always use it in my skincare routine and I talk about it to everyone! It leaves skin almost glowing from the inside out! It gives a really nice radiance workout looking shiny, and leaves skin texture soft and glowing. Really great product to incorporate as part of your pre-makeup prep. Can't comment on its use against breakouts, but I love it for its the overall effect it has on skin tone and texture. My only criticism would be the garish colour of the bottle (I like to have my premium skincare products on display in my bathroom, but not this because of the awful turquoise which doesn't look premium or elegant. This is identical in formula to the Clear Extra Strength 2% BHA Exfoliant just in different packaging.

It wasn't a positive one, however it was fairly and politely written and it was thorough, in an effort to help others and share my experiences. I got the automated acknowledgement of my review, but guess what.....the review was never posted on the site. I had heard rumours that Paula's Choice edited their reviews and hand selected what did and didn't appear on the website. Having been a long time user of Paulas choice and generally very happy with their products and service, I was sceptical of such rumours, and believed Paulas choice to be a professional operation. Not now. I suspect this one will never be posted either. I have lost faith, very disappointing. PS. This is my second time repurchasing this product after trying out other products. I trust Paulas products and formulas and certainly have good results with this exfoliant, it was a bit drying for the first 2 weeks but after that my skin got used to it and I can use this product as much as I want without a problem! Fantastic! Unfortunately the biggest and frustrating problem with this product is the packaging, it constantly leaks if you are travelling with it. I often stay in hotels/ travel and I like my night time regime, yet I have wasted half the bottle in spillages! This keeps happening at every occasion, and now I have a few drops left when I left with a half full bottle! Simply add a screw cap to this bottle (other brands do this like Pixi Glow Tonic etc). It's not rocket science and won't cost that much in production, again seeing as other affordable brands do it! I will empty my other brand morning toner bottle and will fill it with Paulas Choice exfoliant next time I buy! But this shouldn't really be necessary from a commercial product. Once a product has been used, especially liquids, it's quite difficult to keep it from seeping out unless the product is packaged in an air-reduction pump.
