Me and my family had to flee the war in Ukraine and I left my all skin care products at home. I was missing badly this product all 9 months since we left home and first what I've ordered when we moved safely in Canada was this cream (and actually many more other products that I love).This one makes my skin feeling relaxed, but firm, brighter and definitely moisturized. Although I have combination skin, often it falls into the dry side. So this is my rescue, I literally feel it gives my skin all that was promised. And my forehead wrinkles are maintained and not visible just after few PM usages. Highly recommend!

I adore this moisturiser. This is my first retinol product I've used. I think it is a great place to start! I have very dry and sensitive, acne prone skin. This product, in conjunction with some other PC products, has genuinely made a big difference to my skin. I have hardly any acne anymore. I used to get a lot of acne on my chin/jaw area. When winter comes my skin gets sensitive and flaky. I've tried highly recommended products from other brands that address the dehydrated flaky skin. They don't cure my flakes. The Intensive Repair cream cures it fast. I use it twice a day. My skin looks better than ever within days. It also works very well over serums and under sunscreen and makeup . I have been using the cream for several weeks now and I am in love with it. As someone with sensitive skin, I was initially hesitant to try a new product, but this cream has been amazing. My skin needs extra moisture in my 60's and this Intensive Repair Cream delivers. It may not suit all skin types but if your skin is dry or just needs help to bounce back from aging, then I recommend this cream. It contains a cocktail of ingredients for repairing the skin but my favorite is that it has loads of moisture. The skin needs more moisture with age and I know women that are skittish about using something that is heavier than what they are use to. Well, their skin suffers for being skittish and the wrinkles begin on them. When we become menopausal, we must retrain our skin care routines. IRC is by far the best choice you can make to keep skin suppleness and stave off wrinkles!

It is very rich but I don't generally wake up feeling greasy with too much product in the morning, just with soft and restored skin! The retinol is the perfect amount for me: feels like it's doing what it's meant to and with no irritation. Love that it's pretty affordable for a cruelty free, fragrance free, effective product. Only reason I chose 4 stars was that a single pump gives out slightly too much product, in my opinion: I'd prefer it to dispense a smaller portion with one pump. As it is formulated for dry skin, the airless pump dispenses an appropriate amount to help keep dry skin moisturized. I use the defence (red) range and have normal skin. Neither dry nor oily. In winter I started to find at nights I need more hydration. I went onto online chat and they recommended this cream. When it arrived I was concerned because it was for very dry skin. It is a much heavier cream than I am used to. But it was fine it didn't make me oliy and in the morning my skin looked even and hydrated. Overall I am very impressed and will buy it again.
Am a long time customer of PC and am so disappointed in this cream. Wanted a rich cream for wrinkles. I have very fine ones starting but after 2 nights I had deeper wrinkles around my mouth and chin that I did not have before. What the heck? This is a definite NO. Itching has started and now I have to repair this damage. Please PC, create a rich cream for wrinkles etc that does not destroy skin. 60 plus women will be your biggest customers. Thanks.

After I became perimenopausal about 18 months ago, I noticed a sudden change in my skin. It became crepey seemingly overnight, thin, and much less plump. My neck especially showed obvious change. Wrinkles under my chin like I was constantly dehydrated. I bought this with the assumption that I wouldn't see any difference for weeks, if at all. I applied it before bed and in the morning I was shocked at the difference I saw in my skin under my chin after ONE use. Still aging...but so much more smooth and looked less dry and crepey. There is not any weird smell that I can detect, but it generally feels slick instead of creamy, and it seems to sit on my skin rather than to absorb. At first, I thought my skin may just need to adjust, but this phenomenon has not ceased. Even when I use very little of the moisturizer, it feels wet/greasy and tacky on my skin. Not only that, but it actually burns my skin lightly after I apply it. Again, I thought I just needed to adjust and figured I would wake up with my skin feeling soft and nice. Instead, I wake up with skin that is both greasy AND flaky. I have no idea what is up with this stuff, but since I started using it, my skin remains as tight as it was, but with the added bonus of a greasy sheen and painful dry patches everywhere but my chin, which instead features a smattering of painful cystic acne. Because my other moisturizer also contains retinol and I've been using it for a year, I tend not to think it is the inclusion of retinol that has caused this irritation, but I do wonder about the concentration of retinol in this product.I am so disappointed in this product, particularly based on the price and on the success I've had with other PC products, and particularly because it is way more money than I would spend on any non-Paula's Choice moisturizer. My skin is now in worse shape than it had been in MONTHS, and now I need to shell out even MORE money to either restock my great but too-light Resist Barrier-Repair moisturizer, or take a risk on something else, which I'm now afraid to do. Clearly, this works phenomenally for some people, and that's great... but it is not the case for me.
