I have used the liquid form for a long time now and love it but do not love using the cotton pads to apply. Thought this would be a great alternative and the instructions do say 2-3 pumps however 1 is definitely enough. I love this. It goes on a little sticky and I worried it would remain that way but it doesn't. I felt it was a little tingly at first but that passed after a few moments. Felt great on the skin and must say , it is a fabulous product. I now switch between the gel and liquid depending on how i am feeling.

I love this product so much! I can see why it's a cult classic. I prefer it in this gel formula, I find it easier to apply and feels nice to apply with this texture on my fingertips. I've noticed huge changes in my skin when I use this. My skin looks clearer and feels much softer. The skin texture issues I was having before have gone away. I definitely recommend this to anyone! Try the gel, it feels great on skin and absorbs nicely.

This is a good exfoliant and a little goes a long way - one pump is plenty and you do not have to use a cotton pad but can pump gel into hand then apply to face with fingers. I also would not use this once a day as this is a product with potent, active ingredients - 3 or 4 times a week is plenty, perhaps even less if you have sensitive or very dry skin. I actually prefer the liquid version of this to the gel as I feel it absorbs more quickly and the results are more obvious. The gel sits on the skin for a little bit. However, if you find the liquid version too abrasive then this is the one for you.

I've had noticeably fewer hormonal spots too, which I wasn't expecting, although that might not entirely be down to this product. I also love the option of the gel, rather than the liquid, as the liquid requires cotton pads, so not having that waste twice daily with the gel is fantastic. 10/10 purchase and worth every penny.

I love the liquid version but thought I would try this one out as the liquid one runs out so fast. It feels like dish soap and leaves a film when you first put it on, but then it disappears. Seems to work the same as the liquid version but I just don't like the sticky feeling of it, esp if I'm putting makeup on after, so I will only use this one in the evening and use the liquid in the day. It will definitely last longer than the liquid version tho if you are looking for some more economical. I've used the AHA gel and that one was fine but this BHA one is not for me. Will use till the bottle runs out and not replenish in this format in future. Just my preference.
