This is a pretty unique product in my opinion. I thin I scrub is a great name for it. There are little bits initially, however they completely dissolve once rubbed into the skin. I wish there was a little more physical exfoliation for more instant gratification. Instead the following day I experienced quite a bit of dryness and peeling. I am going to give this a few more attempts, but i do have sensitive skin so I'm thinking it's probably just not the right exfoliant for me. Gifted by PaulasChoice

I really like this cleanser. I tried the travel size first and am now on my second full size bottle. To be fair, the name is "Un" Scrub, but I feel it is misleading to even use the word "scrub" anywhere in the description. It's said the beads "dissolve," but I don't even know what that means! Maybe...if you washed for five minutes and were somehow able to hold on to the beads, but that has not been my experience. IME, the beads are so large that they just get washed away and provide zero actual benefit. Nevertheless, I really like this cleanser, obviously! So having said all that, I think the "beads" are simply a novelty marketing add-on, but despite that, something about this cleanser just works for me. I was going to give it 4 stars, removing one for what I said above, but the main reason I am deducting two is because although I really like it, I think it's way overpriced for how much you get and what it is. Even though my review is somewhat all over the place, I hope it makes sense and is helpful for some.

But beacuse I was still getting balckheads and spots I though I was scrubbing enough. So I got very aggressive when scrubbing my skin, and probably did a bit damage. I got this as a sample with one of my orders and I was not very confident. But PC proved me wrong, my face feels clean, skin soft and best of all I dont have to rub my face raw. I really love this exfoliator from Paula’s Choice. The texture is a very finely milled grit which doesn’t strip my skin like other exfoliators have in the past. My skin after use feels super clean and clear, but also soft and hydrated. I’ve only been using it for two weeks and already notice an improvement in the texture of my skin! It appears more even and more vibrant which I really appreciate. The pores in my t-zone also appear more refined. I’m very impressed!
I have searched for an alternative for Clinique's Comforting Cream Cleanser since it was discontinued. It took off all makeup, including waterproof eye products, without any irritation. I have never found a replacement! All Paula's cleansers burn my eyes, and I never attempted to use this as a cleanser for makeup because the beads could potentially be extremely irritating to delicate eyes. What it is, is a very good gentle scrub that I use in the shower a few times a week, to exfoliate skin that is too sensitive for chemical exfoliants. It is an excellent gentle exfoliant. This is a very gentle,but very effective scrub. I use it usually twice a week, but it's so gentle I could use it even more. Recently I saw this microdermabrasion cream on a shopping channel, it looked good so I ordered it. The make up artist said to use it twice a week for beautiful skin. When I got the package home, I could smell the nauseating fumes of menthol, eucalyptus, and peppermint right through the sealed package. I immediately threw the tube into the trash. Thank God for the education that Paula's Choice has brought to us.
