I bought this headset a few months back, I don't have a problem with the sound. The reason it's getting a one star is because the microphone is absolute crap and what I mean by that is that when I use to talk to others online I about had to have the microphone practically in my mouth for my voice to register. Secondly, the microphone stopped working.

Sound was great but chat features were almost unusuable. The mic constantly echoes, even when there is no sound for the mic to pick up in the first place, or it simply doesn’t work at all half the time. Will be returning
I bought this not as a gaming set, but as a headset for my music while I cut the lawn. While the sound is very good and the headst very comfortable, I do have one problem with it. As I stated, I use it while running the lawn mower, and the problem is that it does not block outside noise very well. The music is getting drowned out by the mower. I was hoping that this would serve as well as the ear protection I use, with the added bonus of music. I'll try in the future to modify it and improve the noise reduction.
I love how they sound and the audio is very clear for my friends to hear. It’s honestly the best I’ve bought 3 of these and the only reason I’m on my third pair is cuz my cats like to mess up my wire lol but I still love these headsets
I don't know whats with all the negative reviews. Ive been using this mic for over a year. If you got a defective pair that sucks. For the price the sound quality and materials are amazing. Still looks brand new after all this time.The mic IS good sounding. Most these people saying they can barely been heard probably have to turn up their mic input settings on the xbox itself. Read one about how there is no mute on the headset... The mic itself can be turned and when its all the way up locked in place it will be on mute. Should read the user manual...Has a volume control dial on the right ear which is nice too.It's comfortable, lightweight, good sound quality...for the price its a steal honestly. Im impressed still even after owning for a year.It's a quality headset. I never had sound cut out on my ( could be different on the wireless version ) But yeah. Would recommened.
the headphones do not work. the mic dosnt work at all and the sound cuts in and out, if u hold the cord a certain way it works but once it moves or u let go of it it stops working. buyer beware. may only be a defect on this one but save receipt
the headphones sounds bearable but annoying the headphones are pretty uncomfortable an the foam sucks at cupping your ear an dosent move left or right an its stuck going up an down so i have no idea were people are saying its extremely comfortable...... y'all are idiots...also found the microphone to be hot garbage an laggy an controls to be pretty much nothing an pretty much do nothing at all the audio is not stereo its mono at this point an its not worth buying, which makes the turtle beach stealth 600 better in every way
there not bad for the money but I do wish they were louder. also the line for the mic drops down sometimes out of no where . I've only had them for one month. they shouldn't be giving out like that already! for 40ish dollars they should be built better!
